由中国侨联主办，河南省侨联、郑州市侨联承办，河南省文化和旅游厅支持的2024“中国寻根之旅”春令营——遇见河南·根亲营于4月10日正式开始，本次活动邀请到了来自澳大利亚、新西兰、泰国、印尼等国家的海外华裔青少年到河南学习交流、寻根问祖。开营仪式于西亚斯外籍人员子女学校举办，河南省侨联党组成员、副主席吕剑，郑州市侨联党组书记、主席时旭等领导出席活动并讲话，再次给予本次活动大力支持与认可。

The "China Roots Journey" Spring Camp - Meet Henan - Roots Camp began on April 10th and was sponsored by the China Overseas Chinese Federation, organized by the Overseas Chinese Federation of Henan Province and Zhengzhou Overseas Chinese Federation, and supported by the Henan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. The camp aimed to provide an opportunity for overseas Chinese youths to visit Henan, learn about their roots, and engage in cultural exchange. The opening ceremony was held at Sias IS, where esteemed guests attended the event and delivered speeches, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and understanding.

河南是中华民族与华夏文明的重要发源地，而西亚斯外籍人员子女学校则是河南优秀外籍青少年荟萃一堂的文化宝地。为让华侨青少年更好地融入并了解中华文化，来自西亚斯外籍学校MYP学生带领华侨青少年参观讲解校园生活，共同进行文化切磋，并邀请优秀的对外教学经验丰富的中文教师授课，同时我校也将为来访者提供餐饮、住宿等支持。旨在让海外华裔青少年感受来自老家河南的热情，领略博大精深的中华文明和源远流长的中原文化。

Henan province is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization and culture. Sias IS attracts talented youth from all over the world and offers a wealth of cultural exchange opportunities. To deepen overseas Chinese youth's appreciation of Chinese culture, Sias IS students led a campus tour and facilitated cultural exchange. Experienced Chinese teachers also provided informative lessons, while Sias IS provided meals and accommodation support. The initiative aimed to connect overseas Chinese youth with their ancestral roots in Henan and foster a deeper appreciation of Chinese civilization and Central Plains culture.

本次活动专程将西亚斯外籍人员子女学校作为寻根之旅的第一站，不仅是政府、侨联对我校国际化的认可，也是西亚斯外籍学校优质教学及一流硬件的有力证明。希望本次于西亚斯外籍学校的寻根之旅可以让来访青少年成为讲好中国故事、传播好中国声音的使者，领会风土人情，传承中华文化。
