大师讲堂|刘思屹:人工智能发展与自我学习意识的培养

在数字化浪潮席卷全球的今天,人工智能(AI)作为引领新一轮科技革命和产业变革的重要驱动力,正日益渗透到我们生活的方方面面。在这样的时代背景下,作为学生应该如何适应并利用这一变革呢?


4月19日,我们有幸邀请到刘思屹先生作为佛山ASJ《大师讲堂》第二期的主讲人,为大家带来了人工智能与自主学习的主题分享讲座,一起探索人工智能的奥秘,同时与家长探讨如何培养孩子自主学习能力,以适应这个充挑战和机遇的新时代。

人工智能学会了所有知识,我们还要学什么?


什么是人工智能?是机器人、电脑?抑或是代码、算法?如果加上一层外壳,它可以变成任何样子!


主讲人首先向同学们介绍了人工智能的起源和发展历程。他指出,尽管如今人工智能几乎把人类拥有的所有图文知识都学会了,无论是图片和视频、语言和文字、语音和对话,但它的基础却是常见的二进制算法。人类仅仅使用0和1两个数字便制造出能媲美人类智商甚至比人类能学到更多知识的AI,是这个时代最伟大的发明之一。



那么人工智能是怎样被发明出来的?刘思屹老师进一步讲解了人工智能的诞生历程,引导同学们深入思考其学习与完善的过程。


基于对人类大脑学习的观察,科学家从神经元交互中得到了巨大启发,设计出了能够模仿人类学习过程的算法和模型,目前常见的几种人工智能方法有机器学习、深度学习、强化学习。然而人工智能的发展历史并非一帆风顺,这也启示着佛山ASJ学子们不要害怕遇到困难,如果热爱,请相信并坚持!



在科创课上,同学们对AI与人工智能已经有了认识与应用,也有不少同学尝试过如今通用的人工智能模型GPT,它几乎把世界上所有能学的知识都学了一遍,那么同学们面对人工智能时代需要具备什么关键能力?


刘思屹老师表示,尽管人类大脑可能拼不过人工智能,但是我们的心可以,人工智能没有对现实世界的感受和体验,但人类的独特之处正在于其情感、创造力和个性。在讲座的最后,主讲人鼓励所有同学们在人工智能时代更加注重发掘自身的特点、发展独一无二的自我。

可以抓住哪些机会培养孩子的自主学习意识?


除了与同学们交流人工智能相关知识,刘老师也就如何发展孩子的自主学习意识的主题与20多位家长朋友们进行了分享与交流。



他指出,学习贯穿我们的一生,从生活自理到上课考试到成家立业,孩子对于不同阶段遇到的问题的思考就是一个自主学习的过程,作为家长应该鼓励孩子独立思考和解决问题,同时还要关注孩子的情感需求和心理状态,通过积极的情绪共振及时给予关心和支持。



刘思屹老师还展示了人工智能给出的建议办法,培养孩子的自主学习意识需要家长的耐心和引导,可以通过激发孩子的好奇心、创设良好的学习环境、鼓励探索和实践、提供积极的反馈和指导等,让孩子有安全感、自信心、自主性,帮助孩子建立良好的意识和习惯。

With the wave of digitization sweeping the world today, AI as an important driving force leading a new round of technological revolution and industrial change. In such an era, as students, how should we adapt to and take advantage of this change? 


On 19th April, we had the honour to invite Mr. Liu Siyi as the speaker of ASJ-Foshan's "Master Lecture " to give a lecture on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and independent learning, exploring the mysteries of Artificial Intelligence together, discussing with parents how to adapt to this new era full of challenges and opportunities by cultivating their children's independent learning ability.

Artificial Intelligence learns all knowledge, what else do we have to learn?


What is AI? Is it robots, computers? Or is it code, algorithms? If a shell is added, it can become anything! The lecturer began by introducing the students to the origins and development of artificial intelligence. He points out that although today AI has learned almost all the graph-text knowledge possessed by human beings, it is based on the common binary algorithm. One of the greatest inventions of this era is the creation of AI that can rival human intelligence and even learn more knowledge using only the numbers 0 and 1.



So how was artificial intelligence invented? Mr. Liu further explained the birth of AI, guiding students to think deeply about the process of its learning and improvement. Based on the observation of human brain learning, scientists were greatly inspired by neuronal interactions and designed algorithms and models that can mimic the human learning process. A few common AI methods nowadays are Machine Learning , Deep Learning , and Reinforcement Learning . However, the history of AI has not been a smooth one, which reveals that students should not be afraid of encountering difficulties, and if they love it, they should believe in it and persevere!



In the ICT class, students have already had the knowledge and application of AI and artificial intelligence, and many students have also tried today's general artificial intelligence model GPT, which almost learns all the knowledge that can be learned in the world, so what are the key abilities that students need to have in order to face the era of artificial intelligence? Mr Liu said that although the human brain may not be able to compete with AI, our hearts can, and that AI does not have feelings and experiences of the real world, but what makes humans unique is their emotions, creativity, and individuality. At the end of the lecture, the lecturer encouraged all students to pay more attention to discovering their own characteristics and developing their unique selves in the age of artificial intelligence.

What opportunities can be seized to develop your child's sense of independent learning?


Mr Liu also shared and exchanged ideas with more than 20 parents and friends on the topic of how to develop children's sense of independent learning.



He pointed out that learning runs through our whole life, from self-care to taking classes and exams to starting a family, children's thinking about problems encountered at different stages is a process of independent learning, parents should encourage their children to think and solve problems independently, and at the same time pay attention to their children's emotional needs and psychological state, and give them care and support in time through the resonance of positive emotions.



He also demonstrated the suggested approach given by GPT that cultivating children's sense of independent learning requires parents' patience and guidance, by stimulating children's curiosity, creating a good learning environment, encouraging exploration and practice, and providing positive feedback and guidance, so as to give them a sense of security, self-confidence, and autonomy, help children build good awareness and habits.
