the golden threads of sunlight gently weave through every corner of the campus. 

The mid-term three-way conference for the middle school division unfolds as scheduled. 

Families gather to discuss growth, 

akin to a grand summer symphony, 

playing a harmonious melody of education and love.

初夏时分,阳光如金色的丝线

温柔地编织着校园的每一个角落

初中部期中三方会谈如期而至

一组组家庭共话成长

犹如一场盛夏的交响乐

奏响了教育与爱的和谐乐章






三方会谈是IB学校常见的家校沟通方式,每学期定期举办,家长和学生将与每一科老师进行会谈,共同庆祝学生的进步,反思目前的学习以及制定下一阶段的学习目标。三方会议的目的是为了庆祝学生的进步和成就,增加各方对学生学习过程的了解,并帮助学生制定进一步的学习目标。


Tripartite talks are a common form of communication in IB schools and are held regularly each term, where parents and students meet with each subject teacher to celebrate student progress, reflect on current learning and set learning goals for the next stage.The purpose of the Three-way conferences is to celebrate the student’s progress and achievement, to increase all parties’ understanding of the student’s learning process, and to help the student to set further learning goals.

Students are the protagonists of the tri-party conference. Utilizing reflection tools, they actively summarize and express themselves during the discussions. Through dialogues with parents and teachers, they recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and clarify their future goals. One student remarked after the conference, "Through this meeting, I realized where I need to improve and understood the expectations my teachers and parents have for me. I now know what my goals are before the end of the term."

学生才是三方会谈的主角。

学生借助反思工具,在会谈中积极总结、表达自我。通过与家长和老师的交流,认识到自己的优劣,明确未来努力的方向。一位学生在会后表示:“通过这次会谈,我知道了自己在哪些方面需要改进,也明白了老师和家长对我的期望。我知道期末之前的目标是什么了。”

教师的专业分析:智慧的传递

Emphasizing not only summative assessments but also formative ones, the real effort lies in the daily routine! Teachers collect various data, photos, and different types of assignments from students, understanding their psychological dynamics. They engage in deep conversations with parents and students, providing personalized suggestions based on each student's specific situation. This helps students leverage their strengths and address their weaknesses, finding the most suitable learning methods, ensuring education fits every child.

重视总结性评估,更重视过程性评估。

功夫在平时!教师们收集了学生的各种数据、照片、各种类型的作业,掌握着学生的心理动态,与家长和学生进行了深入交流。针对每个学生的具体情况提出了个性化的建议,帮助他们扬长避短,找到最适合他们的学习方法,让教育适合每一个孩子。

Parents arrive at the school early, filled with enthusiasm and love. They not only focus on their children's academic performance but also care deeply about their psychological well-being and holistic development. One parent commented during the conference, "Through this meeting, I not only learned about my child's performance at school but also understood how to better support their learning and growth at home."
