Last Friday, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our incredible Grade 12 students. The event was a wonderful way to celebrate our student’s success as they head out into the big, wide world! It was wonderful to have this opportunity to bring together families, friends, faculty and students to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our class of 2024.

The ceremony began with an inspiring welcome address from our class speaker Jerry Wang, who reflected on his own journey, our students' journey and some advice and support for future graduates. This was followed by heartfelt speeches from our faculty, who will truly miss our graduating sharks.

上周五，我们非常自豪地庆祝了我们优秀的12年级学生们的毕业典礼。这是庆祝我们学生即将走向更为广阔世界的一个很棒的方式！很高兴有这个机会能够将家人、朋友、教师和学生聚集在一起，向大家对我们2024届学生的辛勤工作和奉献表示感谢。

식이 시작되자 학생 대표인 Jerry Wang은 고무적인 환영사를 발표했습니다. 그는 자신의 성장 과정과 다른 학생들의 성장 과정을 되돌아보고 후배들에게 조언을 해주었습니다. 곧이어 우리 선생님도 우리의 졸업을 앞둔 상어들을 그리워하는 진심 어린 연설을 하셨습니다.

Our Valedictorian, Lucinda Li, and our Salutatorian, Harry Jiang, shared their experiences, lovely words of thanks to their families, memories of their classmates and teachers throughout their time at QISS, and, of course, their aspirations for the future. Another highlight of the afternoon was a touching video with messages for our graduates from their families.

Next came the awarding of diplomas, symbolizing their hard work and perseverance during their time at QISS. This year, we are particularly proud to announce that all of our graduates have received acceptances into top universities around the world, including prestigious institutions such as Emory, NYU, UCLA and Toronto. This remarkable achievement (a 100% success rate) is a reflection of their dedication, academic excellence, and the holistic and comprehensive education they received with us here at QISS.
