News ｜暨南大学文学院本科生实习基地落地东莞暨大港澳子弟学校

On the afternoon of 30th May 2024, the opening ceremony of the Undergraduate Internship Base of the College of Liberal Arts of Jinan University was held at ASJ (Dongguan). ASJ (Dongguan) was honoured to welcome Ms. Xia WEI, Secretary of the Party Committee, Ms. Qing WU, Vice Dean, Mr. Jia-qing LUO, Director of the Office of Teaching and Research, Mr. Zeng-long XIONG, Deputy Director of the Department of History, Mr. Ming-ming WEN, Deputy Director of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature and other relevant members from the College of Liberal Arts of Jinan University.

2024年5月30日下午，暨南大学文学院本科生实习基地授牌仪式在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校隆重举行。暨南大学文学院党委书记魏霞、副院长吴青、教学科研办公室主任罗嘉庆、历史学系副主任熊增珑、中国语言文学系副主任温明明、东莞暨大港澳子弟学校理事长董旭原、校监易丽华、总校长赖炳华、IB校长Hina PATEL以及中学部校长金礼贤等领导出席了本次活动。

The College of Liberal Arts of Jinan University is the second faculty, after the College of Foreign Studies, to sign an internship base agreement with ASJ (Dongguan). This means that the growing partnership between ASJ (Dongguan) and Jinan University will bring a vibrant academic atmosphere and innovative mindset to the educational environment of ASJ (Dongguan).

暨南大学文学院是继暨南大学外国语学院在本校落地研究生实习基地后，又一个与本校签订实习基地的学院。这标志着东莞暨大港澳子弟学校与暨南大学的合作关系日益紧密，这种协作将为东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的教育环境注入更丰富的学术气息和创新的思维方式。

Ms. Xia WEI said in her speech: "In developing this internship base, we will pay more attention to the close collaboration with ASJ (Dongguan) to jointly formulate the training plan and carry out the training activities. We hope that through this kind of collaboration, our students can gain a deeper understanding of the actual educational situation and practice, learn the latest educational concepts and teaching methods, and continuously improve their teaching quality.”

暨南大学文学院党委书记魏霞女士在致辞中表示：“在实践基地的建设发展过程中，我们将更加注重与东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的紧密合作，共同制定实践计划，开展实践教学活动。我们希望通过这种合作方式，让师范学生在实践中深入了解教育教学的实际情况，学习先进的教育理念和教学方法，不断提高教育教学水平。”

In addition to the key leaders of the College of Liberal Arts, there were 56 students on this visit, some of whom will come to our school to become trainee teachers, to work, to progress and to create a collision of wisdom with our teaching staff.

本次参访的除了暨南大学文学院的主要领导以外，还有56名师范业学生，他们中的部份人未来将会来到我们学校成为一名实习老师，与我们的教职人员一起共同学习、共同进步、产生智慧的碰撞。

Mr Banco Tung, Director of the Board of ASJ (Dongguan), expressed his delight: "To establish such a close partnership with the College of Liberal Arts of Jinan University is not only a sharing of educational resources between the two parties, but also a mutual recognition and promotion of our educational philosophies. We believe that through the internship at ASJ (Dongguan), these students will gain valuable work experience, practice their professional skills and lay a solid foundation for their future.”

东莞暨大港澳子弟学校理事长董旭原对此表示十分欣慰：“能够与暨南大学文学院建立如此紧密的合作关系，不仅是双方在教育资源层面的共享，更是对双方教育理念的相互认同与促进。我们相信，通过在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校实习，这些学生未来将收获宝贵的工作经验，锻炼自己的专业技能，为未来的人生道路奠定坚实的基础。”
