6月8日,佛山ASJ迎来了六月开放日活动,家长与孩子们怀揣着期待和好奇,在端午假期共同走进学校,身临其境地体验丰富多彩的教育讲座及特色课程,感受暨大港澳独特的教育风采。

On June 8, ASJ-Foshan held its June Open Day. With expectation and curiosity, parents and children went into the school together during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday to experience the colorful educational seminars and special curriculums, and to feel the unique educational style of ASJ.






PART.01 

讲座分享 Educational Sharing




在开放日的活动现场,学校特别设置了多个讲座环节,让家长们能够深入了解学校的教育理念和教学方法。


At the Open Day, the school set up a number of seminar sessions to enable parents to gain an in-depth understanding of the school's educational philosophy and teaching methods.



首先,副校长姚汝基为大家介绍了学校的办学背景、办学优势和教育资源等。


Firstly, Vice Principal,Mr. Yiu YuKei introduced the school's background, advantages and educational resources.




教学总监刘启彬则就学校的香港课程特色作了详细分享,让家长们对学校的教学情况有更深入的认知。


The Academic Director, Mr. Paul Lau, shared in detail the characteristics of the school's Hong Kong curriculum, which gave parents a deeper knowledge of the school's teaching and learning situation.



当天亦举办了学部课程说明会,帮助家长们进一步了解学校不同学部的课程设置与教学特色。


On the same day, a primary and secondary school introduction was also organized to help parents understand more about the curriculum and teaching characteristics of different school divs.

值得一提的是,我们还能在校园各处见到佛山ASJ的学生志愿者们为家长指引签到、派发礼品、介绍课程,他们积极参与校园的建设,并在此过程中培养自己的沟通能力与团结意识。


It is worth mentioning that we can also see  student volunteers all over the campus guiding parents to sign in, handing out gifts, introducing courses, etc. They actively participate in the construction of the campus and develop their communication skills and sense of solidarity.

PART.02 

小学体验课 Trial Classes




在IB探究课上,孩子们通过一系列富有启发性的活动,围绕着端午节的起源、习俗、民间故事进行学习,探索了端午文化的博大精深,加深了同学们对传统文化的理解与传承意识。


In the IB inquiry course, the children explored the vastness of the Dragon Boat Festival culture through a series of inspiring activities centered on the origins, customs, and folktales of the Dragon Boat Festival, deepening the students' understanding of traditional culture and their sense of inheritance.





而在科创课上,孩子们则充分发挥了他们的创造力和想象力。低年级的学生使用3D打印笔制作粽子,高年级的同学使用乐高积木搭建龙舟。这种将传统文化与现代科技相结合的教学方式,让孩子们在轻松愉快的氛围中学习到了知识。


In the STEAM course, the children gave full use to their creativity and imagination. Lower grades students used 3D printing pens to make rice dumplings, while upper grades students used Legos to build dragon boats. This teaching method, which combines traditional culture with modern technology, allowed the children to learn in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.

入学评估Admission Assessment




在入学评估环节,学校将通过笔试及面试考察学生的基础知识、逻辑思维能力、表达能力等。


In the admission assessment session, the school will examine the students' basic knowledge, logical thinking ability, and expression ability through written tests and interviews.
