On June 7, 2024, students from Living Word School Suzhou Campus visited NYU Shanghai, a university that combines the essence of Chinese and American education. They experienced the open and inclusive campus culture and strong academic atmosphere of NYU Shanghai, which inspired their aspiration for world-renowned universities. Preparation is the key to success, and action will lead to achievement.

上海纽约大学成立于2012年，是经教育部批准，在上海市及浦东新区政府大力支持下，由美国纽约大学和华东师范大学合作创办的中国第一所中美合办研究型大学，也是纽约大学全球体系中具有学位授予资格的三大校园之一。

上海纽约大学立足中国面向世界，依托纽约大学的先进教育理念和优质教育资源，致力于奉献卓越的教学、科研和社会服务，成为中国高等教育改革当中具有变革意义的“试验田”，培养学生成为具有国际视野、跨文化沟通能力以及创新能力的世界公民。

Founded in 2012, NYU Shanghai is the first Sino-US joint research university in China, approved by the Ministry of Education and supported by the Shanghai and Pudong New Area governments. It is a cooperative venture between New York University in the United States and East China Normal University. It is also one of the three campuses in the NYU Global System that have the qualification to award degrees.

NYU Shanghai, rooted in China and facing the world, relies on the advanced educational philosophy and high-quality educational resources of New York University, committed to providing excellent teaching, scientific research and social services, and becoming a transformative "experimental field" in China's higher education reform. It aims to cultivate students to become global citizens with international vision, cross-cultural communication skills, and innovative abilities.

同学们漫步在美丽的校园中，先后参观了图书馆、体育运动空间、教学楼和音乐厅等。这些设施不仅体现了学校对学术和文化的重视，也为学生提供了丰富多样的学习和生活体验。

We walked around the beautiful campus, visiting the library, sports facilities, teaching buildings, and concert hall successively. These facilities not only reflect the school's emphasis on academics and culture, but also provide students with a diverse range of learning and living experiences.

值得一提的是，今年4月，上海纽约大学教育发展基金会举办了一场冠名揭牌仪式，将上海纽约大学海泰楼5楼和6楼的图书馆正式命名为“Fang and Tang Library”，以感谢美高教育集团创始人方正先生和唐雯女士对学校长期以来的支持。方先生和唐女士希望更多的孩子们及未来精英能完成一生的梦想，在我们人类的智慧库中发光发热，成为中国的全球化大使。

Worth mentioning is that in April this year, the NYU Shanghai Educational Development Foundation held a naming ceremony, officially renaming the libraries on the 5th and 6th floors of Haitai Building of NYU Shanghai as "Fang and Tang Library" in gratitude for the long-term support provided by Living Word Group President Ed Fang, and Charlene. They hope that more children and future elites can fulfill their lifelong dreams, shine in our human wisdom bank, and become China's globalization ambassadors.

美高学子们踏入以美高创始人冠名的“Fang and Tang Library”图书馆，心中的自豪感油然而生。看着琳琅满目的书籍，从古老的经典到前沿的科技文献，能深切感受到方先生和唐女士那份对教育事业的热爱和执着。这必将激励着每一位美高学子跟随着美高的步伐，脚踏实地，去追寻心中的梦想，用努力创造奇迹，用激情点燃青春。

When LWS students enter the "Fang and Tang Library" named after the founders of LWS, a sense of pride arises spontaneously in their hearts. Gazing at the plethora of books, ranging from ancient classics to cutting-edge scientific and technological literature, they can deeply feel Mr. Fang and Ms. Tang's passion and perseverance for the educational cause. This will undoubtedly inspire every LWS student to follow in the footsteps of LWS, to be down-to-earth in pursuit of their dreams, create miracles through hard work, and ignite their youth with passion.

在这里，同学们聆听了关于上海纽约大学的历史、使命和独特之处，了解了上海纽约大学的学术项目、学生生活和研究机会。这里不仅有来自世界各地的优秀教授和学者，还有丰富多彩的课外活动和实践机会，为学生提供了广阔的发展空间。

Here, the students listened to the history, mission and uniqueness of NYU Shanghai, learned about its academic programs, student life, and research opportunities. Not only are there outstanding professors and scholars from all over the world, but also a variety of extracurricular activities and practical opportunities, providing students with vast room for development.

这次上海纽约大学研学之行，不仅拓展了美高学子们的国际视野，提升了跨文化沟通能力和学术兴趣，促进了他们全面发展和综合素质的培养，也激发了他们勤耕不辍，勇于追求自己的世界名校梦。

This study tour to NYU Shanghai not only broadened the international horizons of the LWS students, improved their cross-cultural communication skills and academic interests, promoted their comprehensive development and cultivation of overall qualities, but also inspired them to work hard constantly and bravely pursue their dreams of attending world-renowned universities.
