June 14th marked a special occasion as we gathered to celebrate the graduation of our Grade 5 students from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) at the Canadian International School, Hefei. This was not just the end of a chapter but the beginning of a new adventure. Reflecting on this journey, it’s clear that our students have grown tremendously, in their understanding, skills, and friendships.

6月14日对CISH 来说是一个有特别意义的日子，在这一天，五年级学生们的毕业典礼圆满举行。我们欢聚一堂，共庆合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校小学五年级毕业典礼！这是一个阶段的收尾，亦是一次新旅程的起始。回顾这段旅程，我们的学生们在理解力、技能和友谊方面都有着巨大的收获和成长。

One of the highlights of the year was the Grade 5 PYP exhibition. This is the culminating project of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). It is designed to teach children a variety of essential skills and attributes, emphasizing inquiry-based learning and real-world application. This year our students showed great enthusiasm and dedication to their projects, also displaying a passion for contributing to their local community and also wider the global community. 

本学年的亮点之一是五年级的PYP展会，作为国际文凭组织（IB）小学项目（PYP）的项目成果的一次积极展示，旨在教会孩子们运用各种基本技能和特质，强调探究式学习和实践。今年，五年级学生们在自己的项目展示筹备过程中表现出了高度的热情和投入，同时也让我们看到了他们为当地社区，甚至更广泛的全球社区付出的激情。

Students also had the opportunity to spend a day in the Middle Years Programme to familiarize themselves with their new teachers and the new format of moving independently between classrooms. They were given a chance to ask last years graduates questions about what their journey in the MYP was like and any important things they need to know. 

学生们还体验了初中课程项目，熟悉新老师和感受独立在各教室活动的新形式。他们还和上一学年的毕业生就自己感兴趣的问题进行了交流，了解了他们在初中课程中的学习情况以及其他重要事项。

As we celebrate their graduation, we recognize not only their academic achievements but also the friendships that have blossomed. These bonds, formed through shared experiences, will be cherished memories as they move forward. Our Grade 5 graduates are ready to embark on their next educational journey, equipped with the skills, confidence, and friendships that will guide them in the years to come.

在庆祝他们毕业的同时，我们也见证了他们不仅取得了学业上的成功，也收获了友谊的果实。这些在共同经历中形成的纽带，将成为他们未来道路上珍贵的回忆。我们五年级毕业生已准备好踏上新的教育旅程，他们将以所学的技能、自信以及珍贵的友谊为指引，在未来的岁月中稳步前行。
