在7月2日这个特别的日子里

家长、老师及小学部的成员们

齐聚佛山ASJ小剧场

共同庆祝同学们迈入人生的新起点

举行了一场难忘的升学典礼

As we look back on the founding year, we have witnessed the progress and growth of our sixth graders. They are either riding in the sea of knowledge, or flying in the sky of art, or competing on the field. with their passion and talent, they have composed a moving music.

On this special day of July 2nd, Parents, teachers and members of the primary school, gathered together in the ASJ-Foshan Theater to celebrate the new beginning of their lives. held an unforgettable promotion ceremony.

非常高兴今天在这里与家长们共同见证小学部的升学盛会。你们是佛山ASJ创校的首届小学毕业生，我想对六年级的同学们说，恭喜你们迈过了学生角色的第一个重要的里程碑。今天你们不仅结束了小学学习生涯，更开启了全新的学习旅程。

我希望借此机会跟你们分享几个关键词。第一个词是“求真”。在未来的岁月里，希望我们的同学们都能够坚守独立之精神，保持批判性的思维，在坚持原则的情况下，不急于对事物对现象、对自己、对别人下定论，要有批判性的思维。我们在IB国际课程框架下掌握了如何对一个事物、一个现象做多角度的思考，那么坚定地追寻真理，不断地接近他，让你们的智慧光芒照亮你们前行的道路。在坚持做正确的事情的过程当中，我们可能会遇到质疑或者是挑战，所以今天我想跟你们分享的第二个关键词是“立新”。大家都听过《礼记》里面讲过：“苟日新，日日新，又日新。”说的是人们应该勤于省身，不断革新。立新的力量源于谦逊的态度和开放的心态，他要求我们勇敢的拥抱不确定性，敢于直面挑战。这种力量还来自于对自我成长过程的深刻反思，我们始终在前行和成长的路上。第三个关键词我想说的是“有为”。学习不只是为了让自己的人生、生活更加的美好，也是为了让自己的家人，为了你身边的人以及更广阔的生活在这个地球上的所有人更加的美好，我们作为IB的学习者，最终的目标是为了这个地球的和平与美好。那么同学们我们怎么样这个认识有为？应该说不一定只有功成名就才能有所作为，而是当你选择走出自己的舒适区，挑战自我，当你更加关注周边而不是只有自身，当你选择身体力行的践行你的信念，那么你们便是在以微小改变而创造影响，而点滴的正向改变正会因为你的选择和有为而发生。

那么最后我还想鼓励同学们一路去追寻你们的热爱，成为更好的自己。也希望你们做积极反思的学习者，不断的追问自己，希望自己成为一个怎样的人？我们如何可以变得更好？什么是我们真正感兴趣和真正热爱的事情？因为只有你们真正热爱，你们才会有无穷的智慧和创造力，让自己成为和别人不同的一个人。

希望你们在中学阶段能够保持自驱力，让自己不断的对于所有的未知有持续的动力去探究，也希望大家在这个追寻热爱的过程中脚踏实地。让我们直面在未来中学阶段可能遇到的挑战，执着于我们的梦想，不断绽放我们小学积累的所有能量。

随后，同学们一起演唱了经典歌曲《海阔天空》，用歌声告诉世界，无论未来道路如何曲折，他们都将以无畏的姿态，去拥抱每一个挑战，去追寻那片属于自己的天空。

Afterwards, the students sang the classic song "Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies" together, telling the world with their songs that no matter how tortuous the road ahead may be, they will embrace every challenge with fearlessness and pursue the sky that belongs to them.

在IB学习体系里，强调学生不仅能够获得扎实的学科知识，还能够培养出适应未来社会所需的综合能力和素质。

助理校长汤凌艳也为G6的同学们颁发了IB学习者证书，鼓励大家保持这些美好的品质，为成为未来的引领者者、创变者而努力奋斗！

In the IB learning system, it is emphasized that students not only acquire solid subject knowledge, but also develop the comprehensive abilities and qualities needed to adapt to the future society.

Assistant Principal Elaine Tang also presented IB Learner Certificates to the G6 students, encouraging them to maintain these wonderful qualities and work hard to become future leaders and change-makers!

As French writer Victor Hugo said, "The unknowability of the future makes the human struggle never end." During their time studying at ASJ-Foshan, the G6 students took a solid step on the road to knowledge. You have experienced the rich IB program at the primary level and are now about to enter the six-year Hong Kong Secondary School Program. I am confident that you will utilize the knowledge you have acquired and the wonderful qualities you possess to move forward in secondary school and to improve significantly academically and personally.

佛山ASJ让我感受最深刻的两点印象就是真实和尊重。不仅及时解决家长提出的问题，把学生和家长的感受放在第一位，也很重视每个学生的学习成果，鼓励孩子们在各自的领域发光发热，这次我终于选对了学校，将孩子培养成了我理想中的样子。

恭喜同学们结束了小学的旅程，踏进了更高的一个学习起点。希望成为求真、立新、有为和大胆追寻那份热爱的港澳新少年。

The two deepest impressions I felt at ASJ-Foshan were authenticity and respect. Not only do they solve the problems raised by parents in a timely manner and put the feelings of students and parents in the first place, but they also value the learning outcomes of each student and encourage the children to shine in their respective fields. This time, I finally chose the right school to raise my child to be what I want her to be.

Congratulations to our students who have completed their primary school journey and are now embarking on a higher level of learning. We hope to become new youngsters in Hong Kong and Macau who seek truth, establish new ideas, be productive and boldly pursue that love.

Promotion is not a parting, I firmly believe that we will meet at the top one day, and meet the best of us at the highest peak. Our life is destined to be extraordinary, go for it students, find your own life, break into a new world!
