她表示，学校的目标是让每一位学生在未来社会中找到自己的独特位置，发挥出人类独有的情感和创造力优势。同学们是未来的领航者，肩负着时代的重任。希望大家在接下来的学习中，不断提升自己的科技素养和情感素养，迎接人工智能时代的挑战，成为全面发展的新时代青少年。

Principal, Christine Zhang began her address by summarizing the achievements of teachers and students in the fields of education, teaching and cultural and sports activities during the semester and expressed her heartfelt thanks and appreciation for everyone's efforts.

She said that the goal of the school is to enable every student to find his or her own unique position in the future society and to give full play to the unique emotional and creative strengths of human beings. Students are the future navigators, shouldering the heavy responsibility of the times. We hope that they will continue to improve their scientific and technological literacy and emotional literacy in their next studies, to meet the challenges of the artificial intelligence era and to become well-rounded young people of the new era.

Looking back on the semester, ASJ-Foshan students and faculty experienced many exciting activities together.

50KM佛山徒步活动让大家领略了城市的魅力和坚持的意义；STEAM Week展示了大家在科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学方面的创造力；去往香港、福建等地的Field Trip拓宽了大家的视野，增进了对不同文化的理解；读书周让同学们沉浸在知识的海洋中；“我爱我”心理周则教会了大家如何关注自我、关爱他人；艺术周中的音乐会、戏剧表演和视觉艺术设计展示更是让我们见证了同学们的才华与激情。

The 50KM walk in Foshan allowed us to appreciate the charm of the city and the meaning of perseverance; STEAM Week demonstrated our creativity in science, technology, engineering, art and math; Field Trips to Hong Kong and Fujian broadened our horizons and enhanced our understanding of different cultures; and the Book Week allowed us to immerse ourselves in the sea of knowledge; The "Love Myself" Psychology Week taught us how to care about ourselves and others, while the concerts, drama performances and visual arts design presentations during the Art Week allowed us to witness the talent and passion of our students.

In addition, the MVPA60 sports program in Hong Kong, the JPC activities, the "One Hour Living Circle" youth exchange activities in the Greater Bay Area, and the exchange programs with various sister schools in Hong Kong have enriched everyone's extracurricular life, enhancing our friendship and cooperation.

同时，同学们在各大赛事中的活跃身影和优异成绩也令人瞩目。通过英国国际钢琴公开赛、袋鼠数学思维趣味竞赛、粤港中学校级羽毛球邀请赛、校际篮球赛、香港中学生阅读报告比赛、大湾区资优创意征文比赛、ICode国际青少年编程活动中国区预选赛等比赛中展现了出色的才华与不懈的努力，收获了丰硕的成果。

At the same time, the students' active participation and outstanding achievements in various competitions have been remarkable. They have showcased their exceptional talents and relentless efforts in events such as the 2024 UK International Piano Competition, the Kangaroo Math Competition, the Guang Dong-Hong Kong Inter school invitational Badminton Competition 2024, the Inter-School Basketball Competition, the 35th Annual Book Report Competitionfor Secondary School Student, the Greater Bay Area Gifted Creative Writing Competition 2023(Hong Kong Region), and the 6th lCode International Junior Hackathon (China), garnering impressive results.

Every bit of progress and every achievement made by everyone over the past year is the result of hard work and dedication. This is exactly the spirit of future learners, leaders, and change-makers that ASJ-Foshan hopes to see!

For students with outstanding performance, the school has not only given high recognition and praise but also motivated all students through award ceremonies to maintain a positive learning attitude, challenge themselves, and continuously pursue higher goals in the new semester.

As the summer vacation approaches, ensuring the safety and health of students during the holiday becomes particularly important. At the end of the closing ceremony, the Head of Moral Education conducted a safety education session for all students, vividly explaining how to prevent drowning, online fraud, and other potential dangers.
