Why did you choose to teach literature, English history, and drama?
I chose to teach these subjects because they are not only my areas of expertise but also my passions. Literature, English history, and drama help cultivate students' critical thinking, creativity, and expression. I believe these skills are crucial for their future success.
What is your teaching style like?
My teaching style is dynamic, high-intensity, and high-energy. I like to engage students actively in the classroom and focus on student-centered, interactive teaching. I believe this approach helps to spark students' interest and motivation in learning.
What do you value most in your teaching?
I value the strong relationships and interactions I build with my students the most. I believe a good teacher-student relationship helps students better understand and absorb the material. Additionally, I focus on making the classroom interactive and flexible, using improvisation to adapt to students' needs rather than relying on fixed teaching techniques.
What teaching materials and methods do you prefer to use in your teaching?
I prefer using my own original tailor-made teaching materials rather than relying on existing technology and textbooks. I believe that customized teaching materials can better meet students' needs and help them learn and grasp knowledge more effectively. Improvisation and flexible adaptation are also methods I commonly use in teaching to better match different students' learning paces and interests.
What are your expectations and hopes for future CISK students?
I hope that future CISK students will have the opportunity to continue their studies at universities abroad, broadening their horizons and becoming well-rounded, experienced, and knowledgeable global citizens. I hope they can fully utilize the education and experiences gained at CISK to build a solid foundation for their future.
