The popularity of international education has been increasing among parents and students as a more diverse and open option. It stands out from regular schools not only in terms of curriculum but also in the way it showcases the rigour of IB curriculum learning through various engaging academic activities.

8月30日，受小学项目视觉艺术教师Erwin博士的邀请，来自加拿大魁北克的专业摄影师François Nadeau受邀来到西亚斯外籍学校，为2年级和5年级的学生们开启一场别开生面的影像之旅。
On August 30th, François Nadeau, a professional photographer from Quebec, Canada, has been invited by Dr. Erwin, our PYP Visual Arts Teacher to commence creative, innovative photography workshop to students of Grade 5 and Grade 2.

2013 年至 2019 年期间，他曾六次受邀参加 “世界摄影师聚焦北京 ”活动。他为阿尔卡斯艺术中心组织的 “伊兹密尔，留给明天的遗产 ”项目拍摄的作品，在阿尔卡斯博物馆和伊兹密尔摄影日期间展出。2014 年，Mr. Nadeau在 “2014 外国友人眼中的中国梦 ”国际摄影比赛中获得一等奖。截至目前，Mr. Nadeau已出版了四本书，包括由卡宴出版社出版的《中国，中原摄影叙事》。目前，他常驻北京，继续以纪实摄影师的身份捕捉引人入胜的故事。
Mr. Nadeau has been invited to participate in the “World Photographers Focus on Beijing” event six times between 2013 and 2019. His photographs for the project “Izmir, a Legacy for Tomorrow,” organized by the Alcas Art Center, were exhibited at the Alcas Museum and during the Izmir Photography Days. In 2014, Mr. Nadeau won the first prize in the “2014 Chinese Dream in the Eyes of Foreign Friends” international photography competition. He has published four books, including "China: A Photographic Narrative of the Middle Kingdom" by Cayenne Press. Currently based in Beijing, he continues to capture compelling stories as a documentary photographer.

在本次活动中，François Nadeau为不同年级的学生讲授摄影技巧，更是通过互动感极强的工作坊激发学生们对摄影的热情，并让学生们真正的体验专业摄影师视角。
During the event, François Nadeau taught photography techniques to students of different grades and ignited their passion for photography through highly interactive workshops, allowing them to experience the appeal of a professional photographer.

从这些照片中可以看出，在学生的早期教学阶段，西亚斯外籍学校有效激发学生的社会情感及认知能力。西亚斯外籍学校将会持续开拓优质教育资源，为学生们持续邀请各国名师，带领他们一同探索创新课程和多元文化的魅力，引领学生汲取不同文化的精华，让人生的道路更加开阔。在这样的环境下，我们将陪伴孩子共同成长成为独立优秀，闪闪发光的自己。
The photos demonstrate clearly how Sias IS effectively stimulates the social emotional and cognitive abilities of its students as from an early years. Sias IS will continue to explore high-quality educational resources and invite relevant and meaningful expertise from different countries for students. By exploring innovative curriculum and multiculturalism, Sias IS will lead the students to embrace different cultures and broaden their insights. As such we can predict that the kids will be become better regulated individuals in the future.
