In the ancient and solemn concert hall of the Royal Academy of Music, a professional symphony orchestra will perform an extraordinary musical feast together with the little pianists who come to participate in the competition.

Under the soft light, Jesse sat in front of the piano, his fingertips flying between the black and white keys, and a song full of dynamics and vitality, “Entertainer”, echoed in the concert hall. This classic jazz tune composed by Scott Joplin took on a new life under his interpretation.

温同学对切分音的准确处理、节奏的灵活变化以及旋律的流畅表达，让他赢得了现场评委与观众们的热烈掌声。早在3月的精英选拔赛中，温同学就已凭借卓越表现荣获银奖，并顺利晋级至总决赛的舞台。

而今，这份荣耀的延续，是他七年来对钢琴不懈坚持与刻苦练习的结晶，更是他对音乐无比热爱与执着追求的最好证明。

Wen's accurate handling of syncopation, flexible changes in rhythm and smooth expression of the melody won him warm applause from the judges and audience. As early as March, Wen won the Silver Award for his outstanding performance in the Elite Audition, and was successfully promoted to the Grand Final.

Now, the continuation of this honor is the crystallization of his seven years of unremitting persistence and hard practice on the piano, and is the best proof of his incomparable love and persistent pursuit of music.

备赛期间，一遍遍的练习是温同学每天的常态。在佛山ASJ，音乐老师谢老师给予了他充分的指导和鼓励，通过不断调整着自己的手型和指法，同时深入探索乐曲的节奏与情感内核，让温同学在每一次弹奏中都能汲取新的经验。假期里，他也同样严格要求自己每天练习，稳步提升自己的演奏技艺，向着更高的境界迈进。

During the preparation for the competition, practicing over and over again was a daily routine for Jesse. At ASJ-Foshan, Ms. Kayann, the music teacher, gave him ample guidance and encouragement, and by constantly adjusting his hand shape and fingering, as well as exploring the rhythmic and emotional kernel of the piece, Jesse was able to learn new lessons every time he played. During the holidays, he was equally strict in his daily practice, steadily improving his playing skills and moving towards a higher level.

临近比赛前，他也在总决赛彩排中与英皇大考官和教授面对面交流，在专业的环境中练习，接受个性化的指导和建议。

Closer to the competition, he also met face-to-face with ABRSM Examiners and professors at the finals rehearsal, practicing in a professional environment and receiving personalized guidance and advice.

音乐之路，没有捷径。但温同学却从未感到厌倦或疲惫，相反，他享受着每一次与音乐的对话，珍惜着每一次自我突破的机会。在他看来，钢琴是乐器之王，通过精研钢琴，不仅能奠定坚实的音乐基础，更能赋予他驾驭多样乐器、遨游音乐海洋的自信与勇气。

There is no shortcut on the road of music. However, Jesse has never been tired of it. On the contrary, he enjoys every conversation with music and cherishes every opportunity to make a breakthrough. In his opinion, the piano is the king of musical instruments, and studying the piano can not only lay a solid musical foundation, but also give him the confidence and courage to master various musical instruments and swim in the ocean of music.

尽管已经在英国国际钢琴公开赛中取得了优异的成绩，温同学对于自己还有更高的目标，此次比赛也让他有更强的信心面对英皇考级。音乐不仅成为了他生命中不可或缺的部分，更激发了他对生活的无限热爱，为他源源不断地输送着正能量与前进的动力。

Although he has already achieved excellent results in the 2024 UK International Piano Competition, Jesse still has higher goals for himself, and this competition has given him more confidence to face the ABRSM. Music has not only become an indispensable part of his life, but also inspired his infinite love for life, providing him with a constant flow of positive energy and motivation to move forward.
