10月10日上午，天津法拉古特学校迎来了与思楷学术联合打造的生命科学联合实验室揭牌仪式。此实验室是天津地区高中阶段唯一的分子实验室。在这特殊的日子里，我们有幸邀请到了思楷学术CEO沈灿先生、思楷学术副总裁武鼎先生、天津法拉古特学校联合创始人周熹先生、法耀教育副总裁高乃思女士、天津法拉古特学校执行校长高越先生、行政副校长周蔚女士等嘉宾，共同见证这一激动人心的时刻。

On the morning of October 10th, Tianjin Farragut School welcomed the openning ceremony of Joint Research Center for Life Science with Subject Catalyst. This Research Center is the only molecular laboratory at high school in Tianjin. On this special day, we were honoured to have invited Samuel Shen and Sid Wu, CEO and Vice President of Subject Catalyst, Edd Zhou, Co-Founder of Tianjin Farragut School, Naisi Gao, Vice President of Fayao Education, Hero Gao and Vicky Zhou, Executive Principal and Vice Principal of Tianjin Farragut School, and other guests to witness this exciting moment.

活动伊始，天津法拉古特学校左子龙主任担任主持人，热情地欢迎所有到场的嘉宾。紧接着，天津法拉古特学校联合创始人周熹先生和思楷学术CEO沈灿先生先后发表了致辞。

At the beginning of this campaign, Loren Zuo, Director of Tianjin Farragut School, acted as the host and warmly welcomed all the guests. Afterwards, Edd Zhou, Co-Founder of Tianjin Farragut School, and Samuel Shen, CEO of Subject Catalyst, delivered speeches.

周熹先生在致辞中欢迎并感谢思楷学术的支持。他指出，此次合作为天津法拉古特学校带来了先进的生物实验室设备，如超净工作台和离心机，让学生在高中就能接触大学水平的实验设施。学生们可以利用这些资源，积极实践，培养实验技能。他强调，科学实践对于培养能够改变世界的人才至关重要，并以脑机接口技术为例，展示了科技如何塑造未来，激励学生们勇于探索。

In his speech, Edd Zhou welcomed and thanked Subject Catalyst for their support. He pointed out that the partnership brings advanced biology lab equipment, such as ultra-clean work benches and centrifuges, to Tianjin Farragut School, giving students access to university-level lab facilities in high school. Students can make use of these resources to actively practice and develop experimental skills. He emphasised that the practice of science is crucial to the development of talents who can change the world, and used brain-computer interface technology as an example to show how technology is shaping the future and inspire students to explore.

沈灿先生则表达了对法拉古特的赞赏，强调了联合实验室在教育创新中的重要性。他认为，教育的未来发展需要不断的探索，而实验室的成立正是这一理念的体现。他提到，学术诚信是科学研究的基石，学生们要在科研过程中坚持真实和诚信。另外，他还鼓励学生们充分利用实验室的资源，积极参与并培养良好的实验习惯，以宝贵的经验在未来的科学探索中，推动社会进步。

Samuel Shen, expressed his appreciation for Farragut and stressed the importance of Joint Research Center in educational innovation. He believed that the future development of education requires continuous exploration, and the establishment of center is the embodiment of this idea. He mentioned that academic integrity is the cornerstone of scientific research and that students need to uphold truthfulness and honesty in the research process. In addition, he encouraged students to make full use of the resources of center, actively participate and develop good experimental habits, and use the valuable experience in future scientific exploration to promote social progress.

两位领导的致辞结束后，天津法拉古特学校·思楷联合实验室揭牌仪式在师生热烈的掌声中开始。思楷学术CEO沈灿先生与天津法拉古特学校联合创始人周熹先生携手完成了这一具有里程碑意义的仪式，标志着双方合作的篇章正式开启，为学生铺设通往科研梦想的道路。

After the speeches of leaders, the openning ceremony of Tianjin Farragut School  & SubCat Joint Research Center began with warm applause from teachers and students. Samuel Shen, CEO of Subject Catalyst, and Edd Zhou, Co-Founder of Tianjin Farragut School, completed this ceremony, marking the official opening of cooperation between both sides, paving the way for students to reach their scientific research dreams.

随后，思楷学术副总裁武鼎先生带来了精彩的发言。他详细介绍了联合实验室的主体内容，包括共享思楷的学者智库网络、合作实验室基地、全套分子生物学实验室设备，以及社团学术活动和进阶提升项目。这些资源和活动将为学生提供前沿的学术资讯、行业洞见和项目灵感，帮助他们在科学研究的道路上不断前进。

Afterwards, Sid Wu, Vice President of Subject Catalyst, delivered a wonderful speech. He introduced the main content of Joint Research Center, including the sharing of SubCat Scholar Think Tank Network, collaborative lab sites, a full set of molecular biology lab equipment, as well as community academic activities and advanced enhancement programmes. These resources and activities will provide students with cutting-edge academic information, industry insights and project inspirations to help them move forward on the path of scientific research.

最后，我们邀请了天津法拉古特学校教师代表和学生代表分享她们对联合实验室的感受。法拉古特科学学科组长兼双语生物教师秦芳女士祝贺联合实验室成立，并感谢思楷学术提供的研究平台。她指出，学校生物课程的拓展培养了众多热爱生物科学的学生，使得他们在申请名校时表现优异。另外，她强调实验对生命科学教育的重要性，并鼓励学生在新实验室中积极创造。

Last but not least, we invited teacher and student representatives from Tianjin Farragut School to share their experience of Joint Research Center. Fiona Qin, Science Team Leader and Bilingual Biology Teacher at Farragut, congratulated the establishment of Joint Research Center and thanked Subject Catalyst for providing the research platform. She pointed out that the expansion of the school's Biology programme has nurtured many students with a passion for biological sciences, enabling them to excel when applying to prestigious schools. In addition, she stressed the importance of experimentation to life science education and encouraged students to be active and creative in the new  center.

法拉古特生命科学社社长Emily同学也上台发言，她分享了自己对实验室的热爱和期待。她认为实验室是打开生命科学之窗的钥匙，可以让学生们从本源开始研究生物学，并逐渐影响社会乃至世界。她鼓励所有对科学抱有热爱的同学，无论基础如何，都应在实验室中追求探索和发现。

Emily, who is in charge of Farragut Life Science Club, took the stage and shared her love and expectation for center. She believes that the center is the key to open the window of life science, which allows students to study biology from its origin and gradually influence the society and even the world. She encouraged all students with a love for science to pursue exploration and discovery in the center, regardless of their levels.
