The day began with an exhilarating opening ceremony in the gym, where students, staff, and community members gathered, organized by their nationalities in alphabetical order. The air was filled with anticipation as opening speeches set the tone for a day of celebration and learning. Our diverse community shone brightly as we showcased our cultural heritage through vibrant performances and displays.

Following the ceremony, the Flag Parade commenced, an awe-inspiring march that saw countries announced in alphabetical order. The parade route led participants out of the gym, around the astro turf, across the lush grass, and through the main doors, culminating in a grand finale in the lobby. The sight of flags waving proudly and group photos capturing these precious moments was truly heartwarming.

From 9:30am to 11:30am, the stalls and activities opened, transforming the school into a bustling hub of cultural exchange. Each stall was a window into a different world, offering a taste of traditions, crafts, and culinary delights from around the globe. The atmosphere was electric, as visitors wandered from stall to stall, marveling at the diversity on display and engaging in meaningful conversations.

As the clock struck 11:30am, the stalls and activities closed, marking the end of an unforgettable day. While the event may have concluded, the memories and lessons learned will resonate with our CISK community for years to come. The International Day was not just a celebration of diversity, but a reminder of the power of unity in our global village.
