While winter is building up to its full swing, and the new year is coming round the corner, there is hardly a better celebration to welcome Year 2025, than an ebullient winter music showcase.
近日，OCIS师生家长近300人齐聚一堂，学生们怀揣着对音乐的热爱，在Angela老师的指导下，呈现了一场精彩绝伦的音乐庆典，下面就让我们一起回顾这充满欢乐、热情、协作、感动的一天。
Recently, near 300 OCIS teachers, students and parents enjoyed a night of fun and joy. With their passion for music, OCIS students presented a wonderful music gala, led by Ms. Angela. Let's take a look back on this night of glee, warmth, collaboration and affection.
演出
音乐会在富有中华传统韵味的舞狮表演中拉开帷幕，灵动的舞狮欢腾跳跃，瞬间点燃了现场气氛，也寓意着对新年的美好祈愿。
The event kicked off with the lion dance, an act full of traditional Chinese charm. The prancing and tumbling nimble lions, instantly ignited the crowds and sent off best wishes to the coming new year.
随后，各年级学生带来的合唱节目如天籁之鸣，每一位参与的学生都是这场音乐盛宴的主角。孩子们在动人的音符中感受艺术无界与文化多元，所有学生都展现着他们的无限发展潜能。
Subsequently, the choir performances brought by students from various grade entertained the audience. Every participating student was the protagonist of this musical feast. Through the touching notes, children felt the inclusiveness and diversity in art and culture, and unveiled their infinite potentials.
乐器演奏环节，钢琴的悠扬、小提琴的婉转、吉他的曼妙交织共鸣，乐队的表演更是将气氛推至高潮，流行与摇滚的旋律激情回荡，彰显了学生们精湛的技艺与对音乐的深刻领悟。
In the instrument performance phase, the melodious sound of piano, the graceful melody of violin, the heart-stirring guitar, and all the band performance pushed the atmosphere to a climax. All styles of music consummated and echoed, demonstrating the students' skills and understanding of music.
互动
游戏环节中，师生家长亲密互动，笑声与欢呼声此起彼伏。
In the game phase, there was intimate interaction between teachers, students, and parents, with ceaseless laughter and cheers.
抽奖环节更是激动人心，精美礼品为这个特殊的夜晚增添了更多惊喜与欢乐。
The lucky draws were indeed eye-catching. The thoughtful gifts added more surprises and joy to this special night.
感谢与希望
《约翰福音》有一句充满希望的话，“光明照亮了黑暗，黑暗却无法蒙蔽光明。” 演出在完美中落幕，但孩子们的成长才刚刚起步。

我们的音乐课程为我们的英语教学赋能，学生们用英语学习和唱歌，无论音乐天赋如何，都能自信的学习。

OCIS Music program, adds a further element to our English program, with students learning and singing songs in English, gaining confidence not matter what their musical talent.
This concert is a vivid practice of OCIS music education, emphasizing cultural connections and diversity, providing students with opportunities to explore new genres, learn from each other, and become performers, showcasing the harmonious integration of diverse backgrounds.
