理科科目校本评核


School-based assessment is an important reference for evaluating students' daily performance in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE), accounting for 15%-20% of the total marks. Moreover, implementing school-based assessment helps to reduce students' reliance on examination results, enhances their interest in learning, and encourages autonomous study. Consequently, all schools participating in the HKDSE place great emphasis on the development of school-based assessment programmes and the quality of students' daily learning.


校本评核是香港中学文凭考试中评估学生日常在校学习表现的重要参照,其成绩在文凭试中占15%-20%的比重。此外,实施校本评核有助于降低学生对文凭试成绩的依赖,提升学生的学习兴趣,并鼓励他们自主学习。因此,所有文凭试与考学校都非常重视校本评核项目的发展以及学生日常学习的质素。


As a HKDSE participating school, ASJ (Dongguan) strictly adheres to the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority (HKEAA) requirements, implementing school-based assessment programmes in a standardised manner to comprehensively evaluate students' academic performance. In teaching science subjects (chemistry, physics, biology), our school is committed to fostering students' learning and practical exploration abilities, providing them with standardised and comprehensive academic guidance through hands-on operations and inquiry-based learning. In school-based assessment tests, students also demonstrate a diligent and proactive attitude towards learning through research and practice.


作为香港中学文凭考试与考学校,本校严格遵循香港考评局的要求,规范实施校本评核项目,全面评估学生的学业表现。在理科科目(化学、物理、生物)的教学中,本校致力于培养学生的学习能力和实践探索能力,通过实践操作和探究式学习,为学生提供规范且全面的学术指导。在校本评核的测验中,学生们亦展现出勤奋钻研和积极实践的学习态度。




Chemistry SBA | 化学科校本评核

Chemistry School-Based Assessment including volumetric analysis, analytic analysis,  investigative study and other experiments. We have done SBA training programs for our students in S4, to get them prepared for basic practical skills and safety operation awareness. In S5 and S6, we guide our students to do different topics including titration, ions tests, enthalpy change, rate of reaction and activation energy.


化学学科的校本评核涵盖了容量分析、定性分析、探究实验以及其他各类实验。在中学阶段的学习中,学生在中四(相当于十年级)时会接受校本评核的训练,以掌握基础实验操作技能,并提高实验安全意识。到了中五(十一年级)和中六(十二年级),教师会根据教学计划,安排学生进行多样化的主题实验,包括滴定实验、离子检测、焓变测定、化学反应速率测定以及反应活化能测定等。




Chemistry SBA is an integral part of the learning and teaching process and involves assessment of students’ performance at different times during their courses. With SBA, teachers can provide appropriate feedback to students to help consolidate the learning of concepts related to chemistry and scientific investigative skills like data collecting, calculation and drafting graphs. Also, Chemistry SBA fosters the development of generic skills such as creativity, critical thinking, communication and problem-solving.


化学学科的校本评核是教学过程中的重要组成部分,它对于评估学生在不同学习阶段的表现至关重要。在这一过程中,教师会及时向学生提供反馈,以加强他们的化学理论知识和科研探索技能,如数据收集、计算和绘图等。此外,化学科校本评核还旨在培养学生的创新思维、批判性思维、沟通交流以及问题解决能力。





Physics SBA | 物理科校本评核

This Physics School-Based Assessment aims to engage students in experimental investigations to deepen their understanding of the relationship between resistance and conductor properties, as well as the concept of centripetal force. 


近期物理科校本评核旨在通过实验探究,让学生深入理解电阻与导线特性之间的关系,以及向心力的概念。



First, students will conduct a resistance experiment to study how the length and cross-dival area of a wire affects its resistance. By measuring the voltage and current of wires with varying lengths and thicknesses, students will calculate resistance values and create graphs, helping them grasp fundamental electrical principles. 


首先,学生将进行一项电阻实验,研究电阻线长度和截面积对电阻值的影响。通过测量不同长度和粗细的电阻线的电压和电流,计算出电阻值并绘制图表,这有助于学生掌握基本的电学原理。



Next, students will perform a centripetal force experiment, analyzing the force acting on a mass in circular motion and calculating the corresponding angular velocity. These experiments not only enhance students' practical skills and data analysis abilities but also promote collaborative learning and foster their scientific inquiry spirit.


其次,学生将进行向心力实验,透过分析一质量在圆周运动中所受的向心力,并计算相应的角速度。这些实验不仅提升了学生的实验技巧和数据分析能力,还促进了合作学习,培养他们的科学探究精神。





Biology SBA | 生物科校本评核

This Biology School-Based Assessment will investigate the measurement of anaerobic respiration rates, utilizing yeast (Saccharomyces) to convert glucose into ethanol and carbon dioxide in an anaerobic environment. 


本次生物科校本评核将探讨缺氧呼吸速率的测定,利用酵母菌(Saccharomyces)在缺氧环境下将葡萄糖转化为乙醇和二氧化碳的过程。



In the experiment, students will first mix the yeast suspension with agar and then drop it into calcium chloride solution to create yeast gel beads. Afterwards, they will combine the beads with glucose and count the number of gas bubbles released over a period of time. The same setup will be repeated in water baths at various temperatures. The data will be plotted to show the relationship between temperature and respiration rate.


实验中,学生先将酵母菌悬浮液加入琼脂,再滴进氯化钙溶液制成酵母凝胶珠。之后将其与葡萄糖混合,在一段时间内,点数混合液放出的气泡数。同一装置在多个不同温度的水浴中重复进行。将数据绘制图表以显示温度与呼吸率之间的关系。




This experiment will not only help students understand the principles of anaerobic respiration but also enhance their experimental skills and data analysis abilities.


这一实验不仅能帮助学生理解缺氧呼吸的原理,还能提升他们的实验技巧和数据分析的能力。
