Congratulations 喜报 | 数学小将再揽国际奖牌

On November 8th, our school proudly participated in the American Math Olympiad (AMO), with 28 talented students representing ISA Tianhe. 4 students from ISA Tianhe stood out among nearly 150,000 participants, winning medals and showcasing their exceptional mathematical talents on the international stage.

爱莎天河的学生们在美国数学思维挑战赛（AMO）中大放异彩！在11月8日，爱沙天河共有28名学生参赛。其中，四位爱莎天河学生从将近150000名参赛者中脱颖而出揽获奖牌，在国际舞台上展现了他们卓越的数学才能。

ISA Tianhe School adopts IB inquiry teaching and transdisciplinary learning mode to encourage students to develop their creative thinking and inquiry ability in daily learning, solve mathematical problems in different ways and apply math to daily life. It allows students to develop flexibility mathematical thinking and further understanding of mathematical concepts.

“千里之行，始于足下”，爱莎天河学校以IB探究式教学和跨学科学习模式鼓励学生在日常的学习中注重思考和探究，并用不同角度思考数学问题和数学在日常生活中的应用，从而培养灵活的数学思维，理解数学概念的广度和深度。

In addition, the school provides differentiated teaching and group learning for students. The extension group learning really challenges the students’ mathematical understanding and allows them to apply this understanding to challenging problems. We are fortunate to have the support of specialist bilingual math teachers who are utilized in a way that support the children’s learning by providing the language support that may be needed as well as an in-depth understanding of the processes needed for fluency in math.

除此之外，学校还通过分层式教学和小组式教学给予学生个性化的帮助和指导。同时学校还为四年级以上的班级配备双语数学专科老师。学生在双语数学专科老师的语言和深入的概念理解支持下，更好地开展小组式学习和挑战性问题的探究。
