随着圣诞节的临近，我更真切地体会到节日的真正意义：与家人团聚、共享欢乐时光，创造珍贵的回忆。圣诞节让我们将注意力放在生命中最重要的东西——爱与被爱。愿这个圣诞节为每个人带来幸福与温暖。让我们一起珍视与家人和朋友间的真情与善意。祝大家圣诞快乐，节日愉快！
在这个忙碌学期的结束之际，我想借此机会向佛山霍利斯社区的每一位成员送上节日祝福。今年的假期对我格外特别，因为我能够和家人一起在法国的圣热尔韦滑雪胜地度过欢乐而宝贵的家庭时光。这次旅行让我重拾与家人之间的亲密联系，也让我再次认识到工作与生活平衡的重要性。随着新年的到来，我衷心希望每一位师生都能找到属于自己的欢乐时刻，享受假期的放松与自我充实。期待新学期时，我们满怀信心与动力，迎接新的挑战。祝大家假期愉快，新年快乐！
今年圣诞假期，校长 Mrs Arden 和副校长 Mr Banks 陪同学生前往瑞士滑雪，期间与学生们亲切互动，共度难忘时光，为这段旅程增添了更多珍贵回忆。
圣诞快乐！希望这个美好的节日为每个家庭带来温暖与欢乐。对我来说，圣诞节的意义不仅在于礼物与美食，更在于和亲人共度珍贵时光，创造难忘的回忆。我们家每年圣诞节都会去旅行或滑雪。一次难忘的经历是很久之前，我们在芬兰的一天滑雪结束时，我滑动着雪橇带着我的小女儿回到出发点，她在上面憨憨熟睡，即使不小心掉在了路中间还没有惊醒过来。幸运的是，那天路上没有任何车辆经过。直到现在，我的其他孩子们还常常拿这件事开玩笑。假期的美好就在于这些温馨与欢乐的瞬间。再次祝大家圣诞快乐，节日愉快！
圣诞快乐！小时候，我家总是在平安夜早早进入节日的欢乐氛围。我们会给圣诞老人准备肉馅派和牛奶（也许这就是他总被卡在烟囱里的原因）。我和哥哥通常凌晨五点就醒来，偷偷跑下楼，发现肉馅派被吃光，圣诞树下堆满了礼物。我们的父母显然早有准备，一直在留意我们的一举一动，所以每次我们开始拆礼物时，他们都会出现在楼梯上看着我们，然后不禁发愁（起得这么早）接下来漫长的一天该要怎么过。而我和哥哥则忙着享受新玩具带来的乐趣。如今，我的孩子们也拥有着同样美好的圣诞回忆。幸运的是，我的孩子并没有像我和哥哥起床起得那么早！
圣诞节到了，我迫不及待地想和两个儿子及其家人一起延续我们珍视的家庭传统。每年，我们都会玩新游戏，互换“秘密圣诞老人”礼物，并在一家特别的餐厅共进节日晚餐。我们的圣诞足迹遍布英格兰、泰国、日本和新西兰，每个地方都为我们的节日增添了独特的回忆。我最爱的传统之一是早晨送圣诞袜。孩子们小时候，他们的袜子里装满了有趣的小玩具和暖暖的袜子。如今，即便他们已长大，我仍坚持这一传统，为他们准备圣诞袜，里面装着贴心的小礼物和几件有趣的小玩意。
在这温馨的圣诞时节，我特别感谢佛山霍利斯社区在本学期热情欢迎我和我妻子的加入，并帮助我们积极融入这个大家庭。圣诞节是一年中最特别的时光，是与家人和爱人共度的宝贵时刻。我衷心祝愿大家圣诞与新年快乐，愿大家的假期充满温暖与欢笑，我们2025年见！

As we approach the close of another busy term, I wanted to take a moment to send my warmest wishes to the entire LEH community. This holiday season has been particularly special for me, as I’ve had the chance to spend time with my family skiing in the beautiful French resort of Saint Gervais. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, enjoy some much-needed downtime, and reflect on the importance of balance—both in our work and our lives. As we head into the holiday season and the new year, I hope you all find moments of joy, rest, and reflection. Let us continue to uphold these values as we return to school, ready to face new challenges with courage and a shared sense of purpose. Wishing you all a restful and happy holiday season, and I look forward to welcoming you back in the new year.
This Christmas holiday, Mrs Arden and Mr Banks took on a special mission—joining our students on an unforgettable ski trip in Switzerland! It was a wonderful opportunity to build connections, share new experiences, and create lasting memories together.
Merry Christmas everyone, I hope the festive season fills you all with love and happiness. Christmas to me is family, spending time with those you love. Doing things, you all enjoy it’s not just about food and gifts. Christmas to my family is traditionally traveling or skiing. One memorable occasion was our younger daughter falling asleep on a toboggan whilst I was pulling her along, returning from a day of skiing in Finland. Unfortunately, I had not noticed the toboggan become lighter! She had fallen off still asleep and was lay sleeping in the middle of a road. Luckily as the weather was so bad there were no cars around. Our other children have never let me forget that I dropped their youngest sister in the middle of a road. Holidays are about making memories and having fun together. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! As a small child, Christmas started early in our house. Mince pies and milk had been left out for Santa on Christmas Eve (no surprise he got stuck in the chimney) and my brother and I were usually awake before 5.00. Creeping down the stairs, we were always thrilled to see that the mince pies had gone, and that presents were left for us under the tree. Our parents must have been listening out for us as they usually appeared at about the same time, wondering how they were going to get through the rest of the day...while my brother and I had new toys to keep us busy. It is much the same now with my own children, although thankfully they stay asleep a little longer.
As Christmas approaches, I find myself eagerly looking forward to continuing our cherished family traditions with my two boys and their families. Each year, we embrace the joy of learning a new game together, exchanging Secret Santa gifts, and discovering a lovely place to share a festive meal. Our Christmases have taken us to beautiful places like England, Thailand, Japan, and New Zealand, each adding its own unique charm to our celebrations. One of my favourite traditions is giving stockings in the morning. When my children were small, their stockings were filled with fun toys and, of course, socks. Now, I continue this tradition with the young couples, filling their stockings with a mix of original gifts and a few joke items. And yes, socks are still a must!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire LEH community for the warm welcome you have extended to my wife and me since we joined at the start of Term 1. I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and New Year holiday. Christmas is a special time of year, perfect for spending with family and loved ones. Have a fantastic holiday and see you all in 2025!
