As part of our induction process, new families were warmly greeted by our School Leadership Team, who introduced them to our values, mission, and what makes LEH Foshan a truly unique learning environment. Students were presented with their essential school kits to ensure a smooth start, and it was wonderful to see them step confidently onto campus, looking sharp in our very British uniforms.

A heartfelt welcome to LEH Foshan! Joining our school is a fantastic opportunity to develop both academically and personally. We are here to ensure that every student feels supported from day one. Our buddy system has been thoughtfully designed to help new students settle in, forge friendships, and feel at home within our community. A special welcome to our new boarding students. We understand that living away from home can be both exciting and challenging. Rest assured, our dedicated staff and your fellow boarders are here to make your transition as smooth as possible.
Families had the opportunity to engage in informative sessions designed to ease the transition into school life. From understanding the British curriculum to exploring our extra-curricular offerings, parents were equipped with valuable insights to support their children’s educational journey.
For Secondary School students, practicalities covered included the distribution of subject and homework timetables, the structure of the day and use of the School diary. For our older students joining examination classes, option choices were finalised, including the provision of any extra initial support needed in English. Laptops were distributed and a final tour of the school campus was led by Housemasters, leaving our very welcome new students set up to hit the ground running on Monday.
Our youngest Prep students and their parents enjoyed meeting their class teachers in cosy, welcoming settings, laying the foundation for strong teacher-student-parent partnerships.
We love it when our Prep School family grows, this term in no exception we have welcomed 14 new students into our ever-growing Prep School. We know how important it is to feel comfortable at school so that students are ready to learn. Upon welcoming new family members, we hold an induction morning were the students and parents get to meet the whole teaching team and their class teachers. We also set our new students up with a class buddy, so that during the first few days they can get to know each other and ask any questions they may have as well as find their way around the school. Effective home-school communication is essential to build strong relationships with parents, so we enable students and parents to sign our home school agreements before joining the team.
Term 2 officially commenced on 6 January 2025, and the campus has been abuzz with energy and excitement. Returning and new students alike have embraced the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and make a positive start to the term!
