爱莎荔湾国际演艺厅的聚光灯照耀在舞台中央,EY 4年级的Benjamin用稚嫩却充满自信的声音,落落大方地向观众介绍新年庆典的节目;接着,他举起舞龙杆,与小伙伴们一起表演传统舞龙节目,动作流畅、神采飞扬,赢得了阵阵掌声……



他的眼神中闪烁着探索的渴望和自信的张扬,更让人看到了他在荔湾爱莎国际幼儿园的飞速成长。


自入学以来,Benjamin的每一步成长都充满了惊喜与感动:从入学第一天画下的可爱自画像,到用英语和绘画描述午餐的细节,再到用手工材料展示“什么是坚硬的、什么是柔软的”……这不仅仅是他的成长历程,更是荔湾爱莎国际幼儿园实现启蒙与均衡发展的全人教育的缩影

Benjamin stood confidently at the center of the ISA Liwan International Auditorium stage, bathed in the warm glow of the spotlight. With a voice both tender and assured, the EY 4 student gracefully introduced the the Chinese New Year celebration to the audience. 


He then lifted the dragon dance rod and, along with his classmates, performed the traditional dragon dance, moving with fluidity and energy, earning applause from the audience. 



His eyes sparkled with curiosity and confidence, a clear reflection of the rapid growth he has experienced at ISA Liwan International Early Years Programme.


Since joining the school, each step of Benjamin’s growth has been filled with surprise and emotion: from the adorable self-portrait he drew on his first day to describing lunch details in English through drawings, to using craft materials to demonstrate "what is hard" and "what is soft". This journey is not only his personal development but also an embodiment of the holistic, balanced education that ISA Liwan International Early Years Programme offers through early childhood education.

“小小文化探索家”:用探究点亮好奇心

在EY3的一个探究单元“我们如何表达自己”中,为了让孩子们更好地学习来自世界各地的不同文化,Geneva老师带着孩子们前往披萨店,从披萨面团揉起,亲身体验意大利披萨文化。


在动手探究中,Benjamin自由选择配料,创作属于自己的披萨;与小伙伴们一起从意大利贡多拉的照片中探索;从一本关于尼日利亚繁忙市场的书中选角色扮演;听家长绘声绘色讲起嫦娥奔月的中国传统神话故事,还欣赏了来自世界各地的音乐…..

In one EY3 inquiry unit titled "How We Express Ourselves" Ms Geneva, the teacher, took the children to a pizza shop to learn about Italian pizza culture, starting from the dough.


During this hands-on exploration, Benjamin freely chose his toppings and created his own pizza. He and his classmates explored pictures of gondolas in Italy, role-played characters from a book about Nigeria’s bustling markets, listened to parents telling the traditional Chinese myth of Chang'e flying to the moon, and enjoyed music from all over the world.

前不久,Benjamin和小伙伴们来到佛山祖庙参观,于雕梁画柱间临摹绘画,也学习了中国传统醒狮文化。作为一项国家级非物质文化遗产,舞龙舞狮不仅承载着中华文化的深厚底蕴,也为孩子们搭建传承传统文化的桥梁。



在专业老师的指导下,Benjamin和同学们学习了舞龙舞狮的基本动作和节奏,并化身“小小非遗传承人”在新年庆典和开学典礼上登台表演。“这样的经历,既能够让孩子对中国传统文化产生强烈的兴趣,也在玩耍中提升孩子的自信心和团队协作能力。” Benjamin的妈妈赞许道。


我们深知,低龄孩子的学习需要通过游戏和互动来实现。正如园长Collette女士倡导的“游戏能够为孩子们提供广泛的学习机会。孩子们一边玩一边发现创造进步和想象。”

Recently, Benjamin and his classmates visited Foshan’s Ancestor Temple, where they studied the traditional Chinese lion dance culture while sketching the intricate carvings. As a national intangible cultural heritage, dragon and lion dances not only carry the deep essence of Chinese culture but also build a bridge for children to inherit traditional culture.



Under the guidance of a professional instructor, Benjamin and his classmates learned the basic moves and rhythms of dragon and lion dances. They became “little heritage bearers,” performing at the New Year celebration and the opening ceremony. "This experience not only ignites children’s strong interest in traditional Chinese culture but also boosts their self-confidence and teamwork skills through play," commented Benjamin’s mother.


We understand that young children’s learning needs to be achieved through play and interaction. As Principal Ms. Collette advocates, “Play provides children with a wide range of learning opportunities. As they play, they discover, create, progress, and imagine.






Home-School Collaboration Boosts Language Skills

“小小双语达人”:家校共育助力语言飞跃

对于低龄孩子的家长来说,语言和数学能力的培养是他们最关心的内容之一。爱莎荔湾在日常课程中尤其注重对孩子英语和中文等语言能力的培养


Benjamin通过“自然拼读”学习英语,这是一种以趣味和儿童为中心的识字教学方法。通过学习字母和字母组合的发音,Benjamin逐渐掌握了阅读和写作的技巧。



Benjamin的妈妈也表示,他每天都在家练习老师布置的阅读任务,爸爸妈妈都会拍下他的阅读视频发给老师,从未间断。老师会在看过视频后对他的阅读做出评价和建议,帮助他不断进步。


这种家校紧密合作的方式,不仅让Benjamin在语言学习上取得了显著进步,也培养了他良好的学习习惯和自律能力。

For parents of younger children, language and math development are often their biggest concerns. At ISA Liwan, we pay special attention to fostering language abilities in both English and Chinese through our daily curriculum.


Benjamin learns English through phonics, a fun, child-centered method of literacy teaching. By learning the sounds of letters and letter combinations, Benjamin has gradually mastered reading and writing skills.



His mother also mentioned that he practices the reading tasks assigned by his teacher every day at home. His parents regularly send videos of his reading progress to the teacher, who provides feedback and suggestions, helping him continuously improve. 


This close home-school collaboration has not only brought significant progress in Benjamin's language learning but also helped him develop good study habits and self-discipline.




Physical and Artistic Education Combined

“Benjamin在学校学会了游泳,”Benjamin的妈妈还分享道,“每周一上学的时候都会喊‘妈妈,今天有PE(体育课)!’,这是他最喜欢的课。”


爱莎荔湾不仅注重学术能力的培养,还通过设置体育、音乐和视觉艺术课程,配备专业的幼小体育与健康教育专家,以及音乐和视觉艺术老师,以支持孩子的全面发展。

Benjamin learned how to swim at school,” shared his mother. Every Monday, he would excitedly say, 'Mom, I have PE class today!' It's his favorite.”


ISA Liwan places equal emphasis on academic development as well as supporting children’s growth through sports, music, and visual arts. The school employs professional music and visual arts teachers, as well as experts in physical education and health education for early childhood.
