ASJ secondary students delivered outstanding performances at the recently concluded 21st FLTRP Cup National English Competition for Schools. Tiffany and Faye (G12E) claimed first prizes in the Guangdong Division finals, while Joyce (G10P) secured third prize. Notably, Zhong Xiaotong advanced to the National Finals as our school's representative and was ultimately awarded the National Second Prize.

在近日落幕的第21届"外研社杯"全国中学生外语素养大赛中，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校中学部学子表现亮眼：G12E班钟晓童、莫逸菲同学勇夺广东赛区决赛一等奖，G10P班唐嘉怡同学获三等奖。其中，钟晓童同学更以优异表现代表学校晋级全国总决赛，最终斩获全国二等奖殊荣。

Across multiple competition stages, our students demonstrated consistent excellence, achieving significant milestones: 53 qualifiers in regional preliminary rounds, 25 advancing to provincial semi-finals, and 4 reaching the provincial finals. These accomplishments reflect both participants' commitment and tutors' professional guidance, particularly Ms. Elanie LUO, who received the Outstanding Instructor Award.

本届大赛我校实现参赛规模与成绩双突破：初赛阶段53人成功晋级，复赛阶段25人挺进下一轮，最终4人入围地区决赛。优异成绩的取得，既得益于参赛同学的积极投入，也得益于指导教师的专业付出，我校骆婷婷老师凭借出色的指导表现，荣获"优秀指导老师"奖项。

As a nationally recognised benchmark for foreign language education, this year's competition maintained its core objectives of cultivating linguistic competence, learning skills, and critical thinking while innovatively integrating assessments on Chinese ideological and cultural terminology. Preliminary rounds featured dedicated multiple-choice divs, followed by cultural-themed speeches in the provincial finals – a structure that aligns with national strategies to enhance international communication capabilities and nurture globally competent talents with patriotic values.

作为国家级外语素养标杆赛事，本届大赛延续"培养语言能力、学习能力、思辨能力"的核心目标，创新融入中华思想文化术语考核。初赛设置专项单选题型，复赛阶段通过中华文化主题演讲深化赛事内涵，着力培育兼具家国情怀与国际视野的新时代人才。这一赛制设计积极响应国家加强国际传播能力建设的战略需求，彰显赛事育人导向。

Guangdong Division statistics reveal the competition's scale: more than 220,000 participants from more than 1,500 schools across 21 cities, with more than 80,000 progressing to provincial-level finals. Our students' sustained achievements in this prestigious national competition demonstrate ASJ's strengths in foreign language pedagogy and holistic talent development.

赛事数据显示，广东赛区共吸引21个地市、1500余所中学逾22万名学子参与初赛，经过激烈角逐，最终8万余人晋级复赛。在如此高规格、高竞争的全国性赛事中，我校学子凭借扎实功底连创佳绩，充分彰显了学校外语教学实力与人才培养成效。
