CISH: Solving the Intractable at MUNiSQ
From February 27th to March 1st, three students from the Canadian International School of Hefei (CISH) participated in MUNiSQ, taking on the roles of delegate or advisor. Through communication, collaboration, and debate, they engaged in addressing real-world issues that have long been considered intractable.
Oskar Opfer, serving as the advisor for Russia in the Advisory Panel, explored measures to alleviate Lebanon’s liquidity crisis. Jackson Shi, representing Russia in the Security Council, examined the ongoing situation in Cameroon. Matheus Schinke, as a delegate in the Economic and Social Council, investigated strategies to mitigate job displacement caused by automation in developed countries.
Each of these students performed exceptionally, contributing meaningful resolutions, acting as the main submitter on two resolutions, proposing amendments, raising thought-provoking points of interest, and demonstrating diligence, passion, and keen analytical skills.
We are proud to announce that Jackson Shi was awarded Best Delegate, Oskar Opfer received the Most Passionate Delegate award, and Matheus Schinke earned an Honorable Mention. We, at CISH, take great pride in our students and commend them for their outstanding efforts and well-deserved achievements.
