国际化融合高中丨开学周精彩活动，引领新学期逐梦之旅

逐梦新程，共启华章。中山市弘科未来学校国际化融合高中部开学周精彩活动回顾与展望，见证着师生们携手踏入新学期，以饱满的热情和坚定的步伐，共同开启一段崭新的学习与成长之旅。

开学首日，第一课的钟声悠扬响起。国际化融合高中的老师们，引领着学子们回溯上学期那段成长与收获的旅程，对表现优异的学子予以表彰，树立学习榜样，以此激励全体同学勇往直前。

同时，老师们也为新学期指明了方向，特别强调了家校合作在学生成长过程中的重要性，期望家长与学校能够携手并进，共同为学生创造更加优质的学习环境。

随即，为期两日的科目总结交流盛会于周一至周二有序开启。融合高中部的老师们与每位学生展开一对一的深度沟通，针对上学期的学习情况，精准找出薄弱环节，共同制定本学期详细且切实可行的学习目标。

这种个性化的指导方式，让学生清晰认识自身不足，明确努力方向，为他们的学业进步筑牢根基。

周三和周四，同学们与老师深入探讨IEP（个性化教育计划），在谈话中学生们总结优势与不足，确定成长目标，并制定详细实施计划。与此同时，学校亦重视助力学生整理个人履历档案，回顾成长轨迹，在反思中展望未来。

新学期伊始便迎来了首次剑桥国际教育（CIE）官方考试成绩公布，高二学生Louis和Arie在2024年11月份纯数学科目中表现出色，为自己的努力交上了一份满意答卷，也激励着其他同学奋勇拼搏。

同一时间，各学院的活动也精彩纷呈。爱因斯坦学院的新年许愿活动，现场洋溢着青春活力与对未来的美好期许；牛顿学院借助MBTI测试，帮助学生深入了解自我，让高一高二学生紧密联动，共同进步；亚里士多德学院则通过趣味传话游戏，增强了学生间的团队协作与沟通能力 。

为了激发学生的英语学习兴趣与自信心，国际化融合高中部首次举办了“英语流淌”活动。老师们匠心独运，设计了沉浸式游戏关卡、情景对话剧场、趣味单词接龙以及团队辩论赛等一系列精彩环节，旨在让学生们在轻松愉悦的氛围中自然而然地开口说英语，自信地表达自我。

此次活动不仅成功营造了一个优良的英语语言学习环境，还有效地激发了学生的英语潜能。

在此基础上，融合高中部积极鼓励学生参与即将举行的数学袋鼠竞赛，这不仅是一次锻炼能力的机会，更能在大学录取时增添亮点。回顾以往，融合高中部在参与的澳大利亚数学竞赛，我们取得了令人瞩目的成绩：12位参赛学生中，有11人荣获奖项，其中高一和高二年级各有一名学生荣获全国三等奖，收获颇丰，这样的收获无疑为我们的学术之路奠定了坚实的基础。

新学期伊始，国际化融合高中部学生会招新选举圆满完成。

经过激烈的竞选、公平的投票和严格的审核，一批优秀同学脱颖而出，成功加入学生会。他们不仅能力出众，更满怀热忱，期待为学部管理注入新的活力，激发同学们的积极性与主动性，共同打造一个充满活力、和谐美好的校园。

在此，融合高中部要对上一学期学生会成员的辛勤付出表示衷心的感谢和嘉奖。他们在过去的一学期中，以高度的责任感和卓越的领导力，为学校的发展和学生的福祉做出了重要贡献。他们将继续努力，秉持学以利天下，德以润人心的奉献精神。

Pursuing Dreams on a New Journey, Embarking Together on a Glorious Chapter. A review and outlook of the exciting opening week activities of the International High School at Ardingly College Zhongshan，witnessing teachers and students embarking on the new semester hand in hand, with full enthusiasm and firm steps, jointly starting a brand-new journey of learning and growth.

On a Monday morning bathed in the first rays of sunlight, the first class of the new semester commenced. Teachers led students in reflecting on their growth and achievements from the previous semester, recognizing outstanding students and setting learning benchmarks to inspire everyone to strive forward.

Simultaneously, they outlined the direction for the new semester, emphasizing the importance of home-school collaboration in fostering student growth. They expressed hope that parents and the school would work hand in hand to create a more enriching learning environment for students.

From Monday to Tuesday, a two-day subject summary and exchange event unfolded in an orderly manner. Teachers engaged in one-on-one in-depth conversations with each student, pinpointing areas for improvement based on their performance last semester and collaboratively setting detailed and achievable learning goals for the new term. This personalized guidance helped students clearly understand their shortcomings, define their direction for effort, and lay a solid foundation for their academic progress.

On Wednesday and Thursday, students delved into discussions with teachers about their IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). During these conversations, students summarized their strengths and weaknesses, set growth goals, and formulated detailed implementation plans. At the same time, we focused on organizing personal portfolio archives, reflecting on their growth trajectories, and looking ahead to the future.

The first Cambridge International Education (CIE) official exam results were announced. Their impressive performance served as a testament to their hard work and inspired their peers to strive for excellence.

Meanwhile, houses hosted a plethora of exciting activities. Einstein College's New Year's Wishing Event was filled with youthful energy and prospects for the future. Newton College utilized MBTI tests to help students gain deeper self-awareness, fostering closer collaboration  between G10 and G11 students. Aristotle College enhanced teamwork and communication skills among students through a fun game of "Pass the Message."

To ignite students' interest and confidence in learning English, the Integrated High School Department launched its first English Immersion Activity. Teachers designed immersive game, situational dialogue theaters,Puzzle word relay races, and team debates, creating a relaxed atmosphere where students could natural talk and express themselves confidently. The students' enthusiastic participation significantly enhanced the English environment and stimulated their English potential.

We encourage students to participate in the upcoming Math Kangaroo Competition, an activity that can add luster to university applications. In the last Australian Mathematics Competition that our integrated high school participated in, out of 12 participants, 11 won awards, including one national third prize each for both the first and second-year high school students, marking a fruitful achievement.

At the beginning of the new semester, the student union successfully completed its recruitment and election process.

After the election, fair voting, and rigorous review, a group of outstanding students emerged, successfully joining the student union. They not only possess exceptional abilities but also are filled with passion, eager to inject new vitality into the department's management,trigger students' initiative and ownership, and create a vibrant, harmonious, and beautiful campus together.

Here, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and recognition to the student union members of the previous semester for their efforts. With a high sense of responsibility and leadership, they made significant contributions to the school's development and the well-being of students last semester. They will continue to strive, upholding the spirit of "learning to change the world, virtue to nourish the heart."
