This past weekend, the ASJ Primary Football Festival held at ASJ campus was a vibrant hub of excitement, competition and camaraderie. This was the third edition of this annual event. The festival brought together 32 teams from various schools and clubs across Dongguan, showcasing the incredible talent and passion of young footballers. The event was a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork and the love of the beautiful game.  

上周末，ASJ 校园成功举办了第三届 ASJ 小学足球节。此次活动汇聚了来自东莞各学校和俱乐部的 32 支球队，充分展现了年轻足球运动员的卓越才华与热情。作为年度盛事之一，本次足球节不仅是一场竞技比赛，更是对体育精神、团队合作以及对足球热爱的一次深刻诠释。

The festival was divided into two action-packed days, with 16 teams competing each day. On Saturday 22nd March 22nd, the spotlight was on the 4th to 6th-grade players. The ASJ team, as the host, demonstrated their dedication and teamwork, honed through rigorous training. Teams like Donglian Primary School brought an infectious energy and determination to win, while the Fire Qilin team, known for their resilience, proved to be a formidable opponent.  

本届足球节为期两天，每天有 16 支队伍参赛。在 3 月 22 日（星期六），四至六年级球员成为焦点。作为东道主的 ASJ 队凭借严格的训练展现出高度的专注力和团队协作能力；东联小学队则以充沛的能量和强烈的求胜欲望令人印象深刻；而火麒麟队以其坚韧不拔的表现证明了自己是一支实力强劲的对手。  

Sunday 23rd March was all about the younger players, with 1st to 3rd graders taking centre stage. The Hu Zhijun Club, with its professional youth training system, showcased exceptional skills and tactical awareness. The Noble Wolves Girls’ Team also stood out, providing a platform for young female players to shine.  

3 月 23 日（星期日），赛事进入低年级阶段，一至三年级球员成为主角。胡志军俱乐部凭借其专业的青少年训练体系展示了出色的技能与战术意识；战狼女足同样表现出色，为年轻女球员提供了展示自我的平台。

The festival wasn’t just about competition; it was about fostering a love for football and building connections. Teams from Junrui Sports Football Club, Chang’an Chengcai Football Club, Liaobu Hengkeng Primary School, and many others brought their unique flair to the pitch. Each match was a testament to the hard work and passion of these young athletes.  

此次赛事不仅是竞技的舞台，更是培养对足球热爱及建立联系的重要契机。俊瑞体育、长安成才、寮步横坑小学等多支队伍在赛场上各展风采，彰显了年轻运动员的辛勤付出与满腔热情。

As reported by Guangzhou Daily, the event was more than just a tournament—it was a celebration of youth, dreams, and the spirit of football. The article highlighted the enthusiasm of the players, describing how the young footballers “built their dreams on the green field with their love for the sport and their relentless fighting spirit.”  

据《广州日报》报道，本次活动不仅是一场赛事，更是一次对青春、梦想以及足球精神的颂扬。报道中特别强调了球员们通过热爱与顽强拼搏所筑起的梦想。

The festival concluded with the presentation of Gold and Silver Cup awards. In the 4th to 6th-grade Gold Group, Dongguan Tianyue Football Club emerged as champions, while Dongguan Yangguang Football Club claimed the top spot in the 1st to 3rd-grade Gold Group. ASJ proudly secured third place in the Silver Group, a testament to the hard work of our students and coaches.  

本次足球节以颁发金杯和银杯奖圆满落幕。在四至六年级的金组中，东莞天约足球荣获冠军；在一至三年级的金组中，东莞扬光荣登榜首。此外，ASJ 在银组中获得第三名，充分体现了学生与教练团队的不懈努力。

The ASJ Primary Football Festival was more than just a tournament—it was a celebration of community, sportsmanship, and the unifying power of football. As the young players left the field with medals around their necks and smiles on their faces, it was clear that the future of football in Dongguan is bright.
