Grade 10 Personal Project Exhibition – 2025


We were thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our Grade 10 students in this year’s Personal Project Exhibition. The Personal Project marked the culmination of their MYP journey, showcasing their research, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Through this project, students deepened their understanding of topics they were passionate about while developing essential Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills such as research, critical thinking, time management, and communication.



On February 28, 2025, our students proudly presented a diverse array of projects to peers, teachers, and families. The exhibition highlighted their dedication, perseverance, and innovative thinking, with each project addressing real-world challenges. A significant focus this year was ensuring a sincere and purposeful connection to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), encouraging students to consider the broader impact of their work on local and global communities.


Exploring passion and purpose through the UNSDGs

This year’s exhibition featured a remarkable variety of projects, each making meaningful contributions to society and the world. Below is a description of some of the projects:


• Performance tracking football boots – UNSDG 3: Good health and well-being


This project focused on enhancing athletic performance through technology. By integrating sensors into football boots, the product tracked key performance metrics, helping athletes improve their skills and reduce injuries. This innovation contributed to UNSDG 3 by promoting well-being through sports science.


• Creating a hamster habitat – UNSDG 15: Life on land

The student designed a scientifically informed hamster habitat to ensure optimal living conditions for small pets. By focusing on proper habitat design, this project raised awareness about responsible pet care and contributed to UNSDG 15 by promoting the protection and well-being of all living creatures.


• Wooden electricity speed boat – UNSDG 11: Sustainable cities and communities


This student designed a riverboat using eco-friendly materials and modern electrical propulsion. The project demonstrated how classical boat design could be adapted for sustainability, aligning with UNSDG 11 by reducing carbon emissions and promoting sustainable transportation.


• Concept to reality: N Vision 74 3D advertisement – UNSDG 7: Affordable and clean energy


This project featured a 3D advertisement to promote sustainable vehicles, particularly hydrogen-powered cars. It supported UNSDG 7 by raising awareness about clean energy solutions and encouraging a shift toward environmentally friendly transportation.


• The history of Technics – UNSDG 9: Industry, innovation, and infrastructure


This project explored the evolution of Technics turntables, emphasizing their technological advancements and cultural impact. It connected to UNSDG 9 by highlighting innovation in audio technology and the role of infrastructure in shaping creative industries.


• Learning animation – UNSDGs 12 & 14: Responsible consumption and life below water


This project used animation to illustrate the impact of waste on marine life. By promoting awareness of improper waste disposal, it aligned with UNSDG 12 (sustainable consumption) and UNSDG 14 (marine conservation), encouraging people to take responsibility for environmental protection.


• AI art – UNSDG 12: Responsible consumption and production

This project explored AI-generated art and its potential to reduce resource waste in digital content creation. By investigating sustainable artistic practices, it aligned with UNSDG 12, advocating for innovation in creative industries while minimizing environmental impact.


• Art to save our seas – UNSDG 14: Life below water

This project featured ocean-inspired paintings and 3D models to raise awareness of endangered marine species. It connected to UNSDG 14 by promoting marine conservation and educating others on the importance of protecting ocean ecosystems.


Raising awareness through my artwork – UNSDG 3: Good health and well-being

This illustration highlighted the often-overlooked consequences of poor health, focusing on addiction and mental health. It connected to UNSDG 3 by encouraging discussions on public health issues and fostering greater awareness of well-being.


A Celebration of creativity, innovation, and global impact


Through their Personal Projects, our students demonstrated the power of learning beyond the classroom, tackling issues that impacted both local and global communities. We extend our gratitude to faculty members, parents, and the entire school community for supporting our students in their journey.

我们怀着无比激动的心情,共同见证了2025届十年级学生在个人项目展上的卓越表现。作为MYP阶段学习之旅的圆满收官,本次展览集中展示了学生们在学术探究、创新实践及问题解决能力上的深度成长。通过自主探究项目,同学们不仅深化了对兴趣领域的认知,更系统培养了研究方法、批判性思维、时间管理及沟通协作等核心学习技能。


2025年2月28日,同学们怀着自豪的心情,向师生、家长及其他社区成员展示了涵盖多个领域的创新成果。每件作品都凝聚着对现实问题的深刻思考,充分彰显了他们的付出、毅力和创新思维。今年的课题特别强调与联合国可持续发展目标(UNSDGs)的实质性联结,鼓励青少年审视课题对本地社区以及全球社会的价值。


以联合国可持续发展目标为导向,探索热情与使命

本次个人展涌现出诸多具社会价值的创新项目,以下是部分代表性作品:

• 运动数据智能追踪足球靴 – 联合国可持续发展目标3: 健康与福祉

该项目旨在通过科技提升运动表现。通过鞋内传感器实时采集运动数据,既能帮助提升技能,又降低损伤率。以体育科技推动健康福祉提升,符合联合国可持续发展目标第3则。

• 仓鼠栖息地设计—联合国可持续发展目标15:陆地生物保护

科学化设计仓鼠栖息地确保小型宠物的最佳生活条件。通过专注于合适的栖息地设计,该项目不仅传播负责任的宠物饲养理念,更延伸出对生物多样性的保护意识,符合联合国可持续发展目标第15则。 

木质电动快艇 – 联合国可持续发展目标11: 可持续城市与社区 

采用环保材料与现代电动推进系统的船型设计,展现传统工艺与现代环保理念的融合,低碳排放,助力可持续交通转型,符合联合国可持续发展目标第11则。

• 概念成为现实: N Vision 74 3D广告创意 – 联合国可持续发展目标7: 清洁能源

通过沉浸式3D广告推广新能源车辆,特别是氢能源汽车,提升公众对清洁能源的认知,倡导绿色出行方式,符合联合国可持续发展目标第7则。

黑胶唱机文化史– 联合国可持续发展目标9产业创新与基建

梳理黑胶唱盘技术发展脉络,揭示音频技术革新与文化产业的共生关系。突出音频技术创新以及基础设施在塑造创意产业中的作用,符合联合国可持续发展目标第9则。

• 海洋保护动画–– 联合国可持续发展目标 12 & 14: 可持续消费与海洋生态保护

运用动画艺术呈现海洋污染危机,呼吁公众践行环保消费,守护海洋生态,符合联合国可持续发展目标第12及14则。

• AI艺术–联合国可持续发展目标12: 可持续消费与生产

探索人工智能在艺术创作中的应用,倡导数字时代资源节约型的创意生产模式。通过研究可持续的艺术实践方法,倡导在创意产业中推动创新的同时尽量减少对环境的影响,这一做法与联合国可持续发展目标第12则相一致。

海洋主题艺术创作– 联合国可持续发展目标 14:水下生命保护

以海洋主题绘画与3D装置艺术唤起对海洋物种保护的关注,推动海洋生态保护意识普及,与联合国可持续发展目标第14则相一致。

健康主题插画创作 – 联合国可持续发展目标3: 健康与福祉


通过视觉艺术强调不良健康状况常常被忽视的后果,聚焦于成瘾和心理健康问题,鼓励公众对公共卫生议题的深度思考。符合联合国可持续发展目标第3则。


集聚创造力、创新力与全球视野

学生们以个人项目为载体,聚焦于本地及全球社区的问题点,展现了超越课堂的深度学习力量。衷心感谢全体教师、家长及社区伙伴的支持与陪伴。
