at Elderly Care Home!
学生会为养老院里的老人带来欢乐!
This week, our Primary Student Council embarked on a heartwarming service initiative, visiting the Gaobu Elderly Care Home to bring smiles, laughter, and companionship to the residents. The students prepared a special program filled with songs, magic tricks and thoughtful gifts, making it a memorable afternoon for everyone.
本周，小学部学生会开展了一项温馨的服务活动，前往高埗养老院为那里的老人送去欢乐、笑声和陪伴。学生们精心准备了特别的节目，其中包括歌曲、魔术表演和贴心的礼物，让这一天成为了所有人的难忘回忆。
A Performance to Remember

The visit began with a cheerful sing-along, as the students performed classic tunes that had the residents clapping and singing along. Followed by a magic performance by Grade 3 Zoey.
活动开始，学生们欢快地齐声演唱了一些经典曲目，这让老人们纷纷鼓掌并跟着哼唱。随后，G3 组的Zoey同学带来了一场魔术表演。

After the performance, the Primary Grade 3 - Grade 6 Student Council members sat down with the residents, handing out handmade cards and fresh fruits. Conversations flowed as the elderly shared stories from their childhood, while the students listened with curiosity and warmth. It was a beautiful exchange of wisdom and youthful energy.
演出结束后，三年级至六年级的学生会成员与老人们坐在一起，分发手工制作的卡片和新鲜水果。交谈此起彼伏，老人们分享着他们童年的故事，学生们则怀着好奇与热情倾听着。这是智慧与青春活力之间的一场美妙交流。

This initiative was about connection, empathy and giving back. Many of the residents expressed how much they loved the visit.

Our Student Council members left with full hearts, realising how small acts of kindness can make a big difference. We’re so proud of their efforts and look forward to more service projects that spread joy in our community!
