Mathematics 数学魔法，震撼来袭丨CEP双语小学数学节点燃探索热情

3月14日国际数学日，华外CEP双语小学第四届数学节正式拉开帷幕。这场为期一个月的“数学狂欢”，以“π动思维·玩转数学”为主题，通过创意活动、趣味竞赛和学科探索，让师生共同感受数学的魅力。从震撼的开幕式到激烈的思维挑战，从奇妙的魔术表演到天马行空的作品展，数学不再局限于课本，而是化作一场知识与欢乐的盛宴。  

On March 14, International Mathematics Day, HW CEP Bilingual Primary School launched its month-long 4th Math Festival under the theme "Activate Thinking, Explore Math." The event transformed textbook concepts into interactive experiences through creative activities, competitions, and interdisciplinary exploration.

开幕式上，一段奇幻视频揭开数学的神秘面纱——从建筑几何到数字密码，数学的应用令人惊叹。学生代表金句频出：“π是无限的，我们的思维也是无限的！数学是探索世界的超能力！”

随后，师生化身“π型魔法师”，用数列预言扑克牌、用对称原理破解谜题，魔术与数学的碰撞让全场沸腾。

A captivating video unveiled mathematics’ real-world applications—from architectural geometry to digital encryption. Student representatives declared, “π is infinite, and so is our thinking! Math is a superpower to explore the world!” Teachers and students then became “π magicians,” predicting poker cards through number sequences and solving puzzles using symmetry principles. 

华外总校副校长、CEP双语学部校长任怀柱宣布数学节开幕时，掌声与欢呼声交织，宣告思维盛宴正式启动。  

The principal’s opening declaration sparked cheers, marking the festival’s official start.

数学节设三大竞赛区，点燃各年级学生的斗志：  

Three challenge zones engaged different grade levels:

- 低年级速算赛：小选手们笔尖飞舞，如数字短跑般争分夺秒；  

Lower Grades: Speed calculation contests tested mental agility;

- 中年级数独赛：九宫格中推理缜密，每一格都是逻辑的火花； 

Middle Grades: Sudoku challenges honed deductive reasoning; 

- 高年级24点赛：加减乘除极速变形，脑力对决酣畅淋漓。  

Upper Grades: 24-point game contests combined arithmetic mastery with quick thinking.

紧张的氛围中，学生们展现出的不仅是计算能力，更是冷静思考与临场应变力。

Participants demonstrated not only computational skills but also composure under pressure.

作品展区化身“数学创意实验室”。手抄报用色彩绘制知识地图，纸盒搭建的几何结构、彩泥捏塑的立体图形，诠释“变废为宝”的智慧；趣味数学故事书将公式融入情节，让人忍俊不禁又受益匪浅。同学们用作品证明：数学不仅是理性，更是美与想象力的绽放。  

The exhibition area showcased student creativity: hand-drawn posters visualized mathematical concepts, recycled materials formed geometric structures, and clay models illustrated 3D shapes. A collection of math-themed storybooks blended formulas with humor, proving math’s potential for both logic and imagination.

华外CEP双语小学以“一体两翼”课程框架为核心，将国家课程与拓展探究深度融合，打造“学科常规+思维数学”特色文化。低年级通过绘本、数独、七巧板启蒙空间思维；中高年级以逻辑训练、创新项目推动素养提升。数学节正是这一理念的生动实践——在这里，公式化作热血挑战，难题成为探索星辰的起点。  

Aligned with the school’s "core curriculum + extended inquiry" framework, the festival highlighted HW’s educational philosophy. Lower grades developed spatial reasoning through puzzles and picture books, while older students tackled logic training and innovation projects. The event redefined equations as adventures and problems as gateways to discovery.

第四届数学节虽已收官，但探索的脚步从未停歇。正如学生所言：“数学不是终点，而是通往星辰大海的起点。”华外CEP双语小学将继续以趣味为舟、思维为桨，引领学子在数学的无限可能中乘风破浪！  

Though the festival concluded, its spirit endures. As students reflected, “Mathematics isn’t an endpoint, but a starting point to the vast universe.” HW CEP continues to empower young minds, using curiosity as their compass in navigating math’s boundless possibilities.
