作为Amy的个人导师和升学老师，我对她的自律和对自身的高标准要求深感钦佩。Amy对生物医学科学专业怀有极高的热情，尽管该专业的申请竞争激烈，我曾建议她考虑换专业以提高录取的机会。然而，Amy对这个领域的坚定信念始终未曾动摇，从AS阶段起，她便明确了自己的方向，并为此付出了巨大的努力。

Amy的英语能力在Year 13的学生中同样名列前茅。她在12年级时首次参加雅思考试便取得了7.5分的优异成绩，随后在暑假考取的PTE更是达到了满分90分。这卓越的英语能力使她能够在知识的海洋中无障碍地遨游，进一步提升了她各科目的优秀表现。
然而，追求卓越的道路并非一帆风顺。正如之前提到的，Amy选择了一个竞争极为激烈的专业，因此在申请季，我们都经历了等待offer的煎熬。尽管我们于2024年10月就提交了申请，直到2025年2月底才能迎来首个保底院校的录取信，而帝国理工学院和伦敦国王学院的录取则是在3月中旬才逐步到来。这一漫长的等待过程，对17岁的Amy来说，确实是一个不小的挑战。尽管许多比她晚提交申请的同学已经早早收获了offer，而她的好朋友们也纷纷获得G5大学的录取，Amy却始终保持着异常淡定与从容，这得益于她父母的理解、支持与鼓励。
除学业上的卓越，Amy在圣比斯的表现同样令人瞩目。作为学生领袖，她在课余时间积极协助老师组织各类活动。让我印象深刻的是，在筹办2024年大学展时，从主持彩排到场地布置再到全场协调，Amy都安排得井然有序，令我深感欣慰。这场活动不仅获得了参与大学和师生们的高度评价，更显现出她出色的组织能力和领导潜质。
在我们日常的交流中，我发现Amy对未来的大学和职业规划已有清晰的思路和目标。我衷心祝愿她在未来继续追逐自己的热爱，并在她热爱的领域中绽放光芒。
As Amy's Personal Mentor and University Counsellor, I have deep admiration for her self-discipline and high standards for herself. Amy has an immense passion for the biomedical sciences program. Despite the fierce competition for admission, I suggested that she consider changing her major to improve her chances. However, Amy's steadfast belief in this field has never wavered; she has been clear about her direction since the AS level and has dedicated significant effort to it.
During the AS level, Amy excelled and won silver medals in the British Biology Olympiad and the UK Chemistry Olympiad. In her EPQ project, she conducted an in-depth study on can whole-heart tissue engineering products by recellularization from scaffolds be utilized on humans in the next ten years. This project not only received the highest grade of A* but was also published by the prestigious academic publisher Dean & Francis, showcasing her research potential.
Amy's English proficiency is also among the top in her Year 13 cohort. She achieved an impressive score of 7.5 in her first IELTS exam in Year 12, and subsequently scored a perfect 90 in the PTE during the summer break. This excellent command of English allows her to navigate the sea of knowledge without barriers, further enhancing her outstanding performance across subjects.
However, the pursuit of excellence is not without its challenges. As previously mentioned, Amy chose a highly competitive field, and during the application season, we both endured the anxiety of waiting for offers. Although we submitted her application in October 2024, we only received an offer from a safety university by the end of February 2025, while offers from Imperial College London and King’s College London began to arrive gradually in mid-March. This lengthy waiting period was indeed a significant challenge for 17-year-old Amy. Despite many of her peers who submitted their applications later receiving offers ahead of her, and her friends also receiving offers from G5 universities, Amy remained exceptionally composed and calm, thanks to the understanding, support, and encouragement from her parents.
In addition to her academic excellence, Amy is also an impressive leader at St. Bees. She actively assists teachers in organizing various activities during her spare time. What left a profound impression on me was her meticulous organization of the 2024 University Fair, from the rehearsal for the host to venue setup and coordination of the entire event. Her efforts were commendable and highly appreciated, earning accolades from both participating universities and faculty members, showcasing her exceptional organizational skills and leadership potential.
In our daily conversations, I've found that Amy already has a clear vision and goals for her future university experience and career path. I sincerely wish her continued success in pursuing her passions and shining in the fields she loves.
