ASJ-FS PYPX 2025

 Victoria

 Chloe

 Danica

 Ivy

 Jayden Sam

 Alvin

 Jayson

 Lina

 Yolanda

 Angel

 Watson

 Eric

 Bright

 Mia

 Lucy

 Jayden Chan

 Warren

ASJ-FS PYPX 2025

The PYP Exhibition is a summative exploration of students' journey through the PYP, and as a key point in the transition of IB PYP students from primary to secondary school, this exhibition is a major event in the IB community of learners, where the children's developmental trajectory will be deeply marked.

At the PYP Exhibition held at ASJ Foshan, students demonstrated their passion for learning as they explored topics such as rights and responsibilities when sharing with others and living things in a limited resource environment, communities and their internal and external relationships, access to equal opportunities, and peace and conflict resolution.

Through deep introspection and careful observation, P6 students chose the topics they wanted to explore in depth in the PYP Exhibition. They were asked to integrate various IB elements to design a logo for the graduation exhibition, which would give the exhibition a unique meaning and value, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the multidisciplinary theme of “Shared Planet”. The most expressive logo will be selected as the official logo of the PYP Exhibition.

 Victoria

The LOGO design concept centers on environmental protection, with various elements also embodying the ideas of racial and gender equality. The three people of different skin tones holding hands in the LOGO represent the issue of racial equality in our world. I call for and hope that all races can obtain equal rights and opportunities. The pink and blue figures in the icon represent the two genders, standing on a balance, symbolizing my call for everyone to pay attention to the topic of gender equality. Environmental issues also need to be taken seriously. While factories are emitting waste gas, people need to take actions to curb this phenomenon and alleviate air pollution through different methods (such as planting trees). The Antarctic and Arctic in the icon should be covered with ice, but now there is greenery, indicating that there is ice melting in the Antarctic and Arctic, and even some areas are beginning to grow plants. Looking at the people beside the small island, they are throwing garbage into the sea. Such behavior will destroy the living environment of underwater creatures. Not only that, but ships also leak oil when transporting goods, polluting the ocean. The dove holding an olive branch represents peace and unity.

The most prominent part of the overall icon is the large infinity symbol, which represents our need to change the current situation, make rational use of the world's limited resources, and achieve the goal of sustainable development. The overall icon calls on people to protect the environment, reject inequality, and protect the environment to make the world more beautiful.

 Chloe

My logo takes the tree as the main symbol. The big tree is planted in the earth, which makes it more natural and friendly, and it reflects the vitality and growth of sustainable development. The trunk is inscribed with "PYPX", and at the end of each branch, there is a UN Sustainable Development Goal. The green leaves represent environmental protection and vitality, while the golden fruits symbolize growth and hope. I chose the earth as the background picture because I think the premise and foundation of the sustainable development goals is the earth. Below the earth is "ASJ", and the color green is used, which is consistent with the school emblem color, representing that we are in the school, learning the concept of sustainable development. "Less pollution, more green; less waste, more future!" Let's act together and speak up for the earth!

 Danica

The most prominent element in the logo, the lion dance, represents the theme of my PYPX exploration, which is related to the intangible cultural heritage of the lion dance. The lion dance embodies the spirit of awakening and strength. The Earth with the lion dance on top symbolizes that every citizen of the Earth has the opportunity to realize and exert their own strength, and to jointly build a better Earth home with an uplifting spirit. The row of people appearing in the Earth represents different races and genders, symbolizing people's vision of racial equality and gender equality. Land animals, underwater creatures and people live together on the Earth, representing that the Earth is a common home for humans and animals. When people share the Earth's limited resources with other species, they have rights and responsibilities.

 Ivy

The LOGO incorporates the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations, among which the four aspects of climate action, reducing inequality, promoting goal achievement, innovation and infrastructure are highly relevant to the content of my current PYPX inquiry. At the tip of the rhombus is the emblem of the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations.

 Jayden Sam

The main part of the LOGO is the Earth. In the middle of the Earth, there is a projector, representing that the theme of my current PYPX inquiry topic is the film industry. Slowly opening around the projector is the film reel. Different colors of the film represent the five continents: Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Oceania. This represents that the film industry has played an important role in cultural exchanges among communities in various continents.

 Alvin

The Earth on the icon is wearing headphones and smiling, representing that my current PYPX inquiry theme is related to music. I believe that music makes the Earth a better place, and listening to music when feeling down can also help people relieve emotional problems. The seventeen grids on the Earth correspond to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The four people above the Earth are holding hands in a necklace, representing people with Down syndrome, Caucasians, Africans, and Asians respectively, symbolizing peace, equality for all, and racial equality.

 Jayson

The content of my current PYPX inquiry is related to music. The main body of the icon is in the shape of a cell, within which there are musical notes and the clues and concepts of our current inquiry, representing that music is rooted in every person's cells and can bring regulation and influence to people.

 Lina

The Earth on the LOGO represents the transdisciplinary theme of this PYPX - Sharing the Planet. I have divided it into two parts, one half being a beautiful Earth and the other half a polluted Earth. The fish and trees in the upper half of the beautiful Earth represent the underwater and land creatures among the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, while the hospital and school symbolize good health and well-being and quality education. The scales in the lower half represent my concern for racial and gender equality. The people on the grey Earth are constantly cutting down trees and discharging industrial wastewater, etc., which is causing the Earth to be continuously polluted. These phenomena deserve people's attention and action.

 Yolanda

This logo features many small figures in different colors. Brown represents Africa, yellow represents Asia, and white represents Europe. The figures on the left represent countries without war, while those on the right represent countries currently at war. On the Earth, there is a factory emitting carbon dioxide, which reminds people of the impact of excessive carbon emissions on the Earth and encourages the use of clean energy for sustainable development. The ocean on the Earth is divided into two parts, one blue and the other black. In the black ocean, there are floating garbage and fish bones, suggesting that human pollution of the marine environment has seriously affected the survival of marine life. The entire logo embodies the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals of reducing inequality, climate action, life below water, racial equality, peace, justice and strong institutions, and good health and well-being. I hope to convey the concepts of world peace and environmental protection through this icon.

 Angel

Above this LOGO is PYPX, which represents the purpose of this icon design. The "United Nations" inside the icon stands for the United Nations, which precisely corresponds to my inquiry topic for this PYPX. The balance scale within the icon symbolizes that the establishment of the United Nations has made the world more peaceful. The box below the icon reflects the phenomena and issues of gender equality and racial equality. SDGS represents the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations.

 Watson

In the LOGO, there are people of different skin colors on the Earth, all very happy to join hands and cross the mountain peak filled with light together. The sunlight illuminates their way forward, representing that people of different skin colors and races on the Earth are equal and harmonious, and jointly building a community with a shared future for mankind.

 Eric

The four colors of red, yellow, blue and green on the Earth each have different meanings. Red represents prosperity, blue represents the sea, green represents the plateau and yellow represents the land. The wings on the Earth represent the topic I explored in PYPX which is related to aerospace. The two swords on the Earth represent that we should take actions to protect the peace, natural environment and prosperity of human beings on the Earth.

 Bright

The design theme of the icon is a cinema projector, representing that the theme of my current PYPX inquiry is related to the film industry. The different color bags on the projector represent different United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The soldier in the icon represents justice, peace and powerful institutions. The earth has multiple colors, representing that the culture of the earth is diverse. The people of different skin colors on it represent my hope that people of all races can have equal opportunities and live in peace together.

 Mia

In the middle of the Earth, there is a fist, symbolizing the powerful comprehensive national strength maintaining peace. Inside the fist, there is a school emblem, representing our vigorous growth under the protection of a strong country. On the left side of the fist, there is a factory emitting exhaust gas, representing the environmental pollution existing on the Earth. On the right side of the fist, there are two hands and a bird above, representing cooperation. At the top of the outer circle of the Earth, there are three people of different skin colors, representing racial equality. The blue and pink people on the right circle represent different genders, corresponding to the gender equality among the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations. I also referred to the colors representing emotions in the mood meter of social and emotional learning. The yellow person above the Earth represents harmonious and friendly humans, and the red person represents regions and people in conflict. In the icon, two people standing on a boat represent clean drinking water, and the hospital represents physical and mental health. The houses and trees on the left half circle represent sustainable cities and communities, and the pen and book represent quality education.

 Lucy

The center of the LOGO is the shape of a book with "PYPX" written on it, which not only represents the inquiry we are conducting but also symbolizes quality education. The two swords in the picture indicate that there can never be absolute fairness in the world, and we still have a long way to go. Above the book is a forest, representing the ecological environment. To the right of the book is a polluted city. The compilation of the book has the significance of gender equality and reducing inequality. The background is white, symbolizing the possibility of other developments. Below the book is the icon of decent work and economic growth among the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, hoping that everyone will pay attention to this social issue as well as physical health.

 Jayden Chan

The main part of my LOGO is a globe, representing the transdisciplinary theme of our current inquiry, which is Sharing the Planet. The globe is divided into two parts: one part is a balanced Earth with a natural environment, while the other part is a polluted Earth. Below the globe, there are red flames, symbolizing the main content of my PYPX inquiry, which is the aerospace industry. This industry is driving the continuous development of the Earth.

 Warren

The main part of the LOGO is the Earth traveling in the boundless universe, with rockets on the Earth roaring into the sky, representing that the main content of my current exploration is mainly about aerospace.
