Report on Model United Nations Event 模拟联合国活动报道

Suzhou Singapore International School, April 11-13 2025

This past weekend, CISH assembled a delegation to compete at the Model UN event in Suzhou. This was a highly engaging event featuring hundreds of students hailing from schools all over China, and an exciting opportunity for our students to practice their communication and leadership skills as well as showcasing international mindedness and a strong grasp of world events.

在刚刚过去的上周末，我校（合肥加拿大外籍人员子女学校）组建了一支代表团，参与了在苏州举行的模拟联合国活动。这是一场引人入胜的活动，数百名来自中国各地学校的学生参加了此次活动。对于我校学生而言，这是一次绝佳的锻炼沟通和领导能力、展现国际视野和对世界时事的敏锐洞察力的机会。

The five students who participated in this event were Oskar G12, Aaric G10, Tamar G10, Rocky G9 and Freddi G8. Tamar performed extremely well earning his third best delegate award of the year, with an excellent performance and resolution defense in the UN Commision for the Status of Women (UNCSW). Oskar also performed well earning a honourable mention in the Human Rights Committee (HRC). Well done to these delegates!

我校参加此次活动的五名学生代表分别是12年级的Oskar、10年级的Aaric、10年级的Tamar、9年级的Rocky和8年级的Freddi。Tamar在联合国妇女地位委员会（UNCSW）的答辩中表现出色，并凭借其出色的表现和决议答辩，荣获年度最佳代表奖的第三名。Oskar在人权委员会（HRC）的答辩中也表现出色，获得荣誉提名。向这些代表们致敬！
