As we step into the final term of the year, both Prep and Secondary schools are immersed in the cherished tradition of capturing timeless moments for the fourth edition of our yearbook. Over three dedicated days, our photographers have meticulously preserved the smiles of students and staff. These images will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
More than just a collection of photographs, the yearbook is a vibrant celebration of classroom discoveries, campus adventures, and the meaningful connections between teachers and students. It serves as a living record of the past academic year, reflecting the energy, passion, and growth of the entire LEH Foshan community.
From the spark of intellectual debates to the determination on the sports field, from creative triumphs in clubs to the kindness shared in service projects—every snapshot captures the unique brilliance of our students. This yearbook is not just a publication; it’s a treasure trove of memories, a testament to the stories we’ve written together. In this academic year, we are thrilled to have witnessed various changes. As our school community has grown in size and we have implemented the spirit of holistic education, we have also made corresponding additions and updates to our campus facilities.

Additional Computer Lab in the Creative Arts Faculty
By merging technology with creative thinking, this new lab offers students cutting-edge resources to explore the convergence of computer science and the arts.
Brand-new E-sports and Computer Science Room
This dedicated space provides students with immersive, hands-on experience in gaming technology, actively fostering skills in strategic thinking, collaborative teamwork, and analytical problem-solving.
Three Additional Science Labs
Fitted with cutting-edge technology, these labs offer students abundant opportunities to engage in hands-on experiments and scientific exploration.
These spaces are dedicated to different academic disciplines. Each classroom is meticulously designed to foster an optimal learning environment, featuring state-of-the-art resources and adaptable seating configurations. With this expansion, we are now utilizing all of our academic spaces, ensuring an optimal learning environment for every student while maintaining our commitment to quality education.
We have diligently crafted plans for a permanent Art Gallery, incorporating cutting-edge lighting systems and a dynamic exhibition framework. This space hosts regular exhibitions by visiting artists while also showcasing the remarkable works of our students. The opening ceremony of the Holles Gallery took place on 20 September 2024. Since then, our gallery has hosted numerous exhibitions, such as Shining Star Art Exhibition (Our First Charity Auction), Photography Exhibitions, Technical Image Exhibitions etc.
The unveiled house rooms provide a welcoming space for students to relax and collaborate during break times.
The newly launched Sixth Form Centre, thoughtfully crafted to accommodate both independent learning and collaborative endeavours, features dedicated spaces and resources to support their unique journey. It features flexible classrooms designed to foster collaboration between students and teachers. There are also two private study areas that have quickly become popular spots for students to focus on their studies and enhance their learning. We are confident these enhancements will equip our secondary school students with the tools and environment needed to thrive academically, cultivate essential life skills, and prepare with confidence for their future pathways.
New Music and STEM Room in Prep
To meet the needs of our all-rounded education approach, we have equipped the Prep School with a music classroom and a STEM classroom for Music and STEM programmes. Our STEM classroom ensures that students can use exciting new equipment during classes, and we will welcome a new STEM Coordinator next year.
Our newly established Photography Studio is currently mainly used for carrying out three ECA courses: Sports Photography, Studio Photography, and Press Photography. There is a wide variety of equipment here, including mirrorless cameras, studio strobes, and shoot cameras.
What began as a handful of pioneering students has grown into a dynamic global community. This yearbook captures the energy of that extraordinary journey. In just a few years, our classrooms have expanded into a large international network of learners, thinkers, and leaders. Each photo in the pages of this year’s yearbook reflects not just individual growth, but the collective spirit of a school that bridges cultures, embraces diversity, and shapes futures. Together, we’re not just making memories, we’re building a legacy that stretches far beyond our campus. We are honored to interview Mrs Arden, our Headteacher, to share some insights towards our yearbook as well as the development of the whole community.
How do you feel about the 4th edition of the yearbook, and what makes it special compared to previous editions?
The 4th edition of our yearbook feels especially meaningful—it captures a year of growth, innovation, and unity. We have seen departments expand, student voice grow stronger, and creativity thrive across the school. This year’s edition is a testament to our students’ craftsmanship and to the collaborative spirit that drives so much of what we do at LEH.
What moments of this year’s yearbook make you the most proud?
The divs that highlight student voice and service make me particularly proud. From student-led performances to charity initiatives and environmental campaigns, we’ve seen our learners take ownership of their passions. These moments embody compassion, commitment, and confidence, and remind us that education is as much about heart as it is about achievement.
Looking at this year’s progress, what are your biggest hopes for next year?
I hope to see even more students stepping into leadership roles, embracing student agency, and taking bold steps in pursuit of their dreams. I also hope we continue to nurture a culture where wellbeing, creativity, and academic rigour live side by side. Every student should leave LEH believing that their voice matters and that Hope Favours the Bold.
