SIS Talent Show Shines with Creativity & Community｜舞台即世界，秀出无限可能！

This year’s Shekou International School Talent Show was a vibrant celebration of student creativity, dedication, and community spirit. With a wide range of participants from different grade levels, the event highlighted the incredible diversity of talent within the SIS community.

The show featured an exciting mix of solo and duet singers, dancers, pianists, a string ensemble, and creative combinations like acting and dancing. The variety of performances kept the audience engaged and showcased the unique strengths of each student.

“The energy in the room was amazing, and the crowd was really supportive,” shared Ms. Judine, one of the programme leaders. “You could tell how excited everyone was, both on and off stage.” The high level of talent made it challenging to choose standout performances, with many acts surprising the audience in the best possible ways.

The event was thoughtfully organised by a Grade 11 CAS team: Evelyn, Quinn, Ryann and Amber, supported by their supervisors, Ms. Judine and Mr. Brink. CAS, which stands for Creativity, Activity, and Service, is a core component of the IB Diploma Programme. It encourages students to grow into well-rounded individuals by engaging in pursuits beyond the academic curriculum.

Planning the Talent Show required strong collaboration, time management, and leadership—skills the CAS team demonstrated with great success. “What I love about events like this,” noted a teacher, “is that they show how much we care about developing well-rounded students, not just academic performance.”

This year’s Talent Show was more than a display of talent—it was a celebration of student growth, the supportive community, and the SIS spirit.
