In Secondary School, we offer the English Immersion Program and the English as an Additional Language (EAL) Program for students who need extra support in learning English.
The English Immersion Program comprises Four Levels:
1️⃣ Standard English Acquisition,
2️⃣ Intermediate English Acquisition,
3️⃣ Extended English Acquisition,
4️⃣ Advanced English Acquisition.
This program emphasizes developing English language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural understanding.
In the EAL program, students receive additional academic support to enhance their English proficiency, which in turn improves their understanding of other subjects.
Students enrolled in the English Immersion Program, particularly at the standard level, will continue their studies in Chinese and Mathematics to ensure they maintain academic progress in these essential subjects. Regular assessments occur every 6-8 weeks to evaluate student growth, considering tests, homework completion, daily performance, and learning attitudes. Students will advance to the next level upon passing these assessments.
Throughout the program, parents will receive regular reports via Toddle and can schedule individual meetings with teachers to discuss their child's learning progress.
