在IB教育中，体育教育是培养学生全面发展不可或缺的组成部分，她不仅关乎体能与技巧，更关乎文化和品格。上周末，OCIS成功承办“DISA东北地区国际学校联盟足篮球锦标赛”。来自大连美国国际学校、长春美国外籍人员子女学校、沈阳科爱赛外籍人员子女学校以及东方剑桥国际学校的百余位学子齐聚OCIS，以运动为纽带，以友谊为桥梁，在绿茵场和篮球场上展现了超强的团队协作精神与坚韧品格。  

In IB pedagogy, physical education is an indispensable component of cultivating students' comprehensive qualities. It is not only limited to physical fitness and skills, but also involves culture and character building. Last weekend, OCIS successfully hosted the "DISA Northeast International Schools Football & Basketball Championship." Over a hundred students from Dalian American International School, Changchun American International School, Shenyang QSI International School, and Oriental Cambridge International School gathered at OCIS, using sports as a bond and friendship as a bridge to demonstrate exceptional teamwork and resilience on the football pitch and basketball court.  

作为东北地区国际学校的重要交流平台，本次赛事不仅是一场体育竞技，更是跨文化理解与协作的生动实践。尽管比赛期间大雨倾盆，但同学们无惧挑战，以顽强的拼搏精神和默契的团队协作，呈现了一场场精彩纷呈的较量——女足队员们的战术配合彰显领导力，男足联队的顽强防守体现毅力，而篮球队员的精准协作更是团队智慧的结晶。

As an important exchange platform for international schools in Northeast China, this event was not only an athletic competition but also a vivid practice of cross-cultural understanding and collaboration. Despite heavy rain during the games, the students faced the challenges fearlessly, showcasing remarkable determination and seamless teamwork in a series of thrilling matches—the tactical coordination of the girls' football team highlighted leadership, the boys' football team's tenacious defense embodied perseverance, and the precise collaboration of the basketball players reflected the wisdom of teamwork.  

经过激烈角逐，OCIS荣膺篮球组冠军，并与QSI联队共同获得女子足球、男子足球联队季军，成绩背后是国际教育对全人教育的坚持。  

After intense competition, OCIS emerged as the champion in basketball and, together with the QSI combined team, secured third place in both girls' and boys' football. These achievements underscore the commitment of international education to holistic development.
