On 19th May, Grade 10 students from ASJ (Dongguan) embarked on an educational visit to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) campus, gaining valuable insights into higher education resources and admissions policies within the Greater Bay Area.

5月19日，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校十年级学生赴香港中文大学（深圳）校区参访，深入了解大湾区高校的教育资源与升学政策。

The tour commenced at the university's Arts Centre, where students learned about its unique approach of integrating academic courses with practical activities. Through initiatives like art workshops and curated exhibitions, the centre aims to weave artistic engagement into campus life. Later at the library, students examined a detailed scale model of campus expansion plans on the ground floor, including upcoming facilities like the Medical School and Conservatory of Music. On the upper level, innovative features such as "mobile phone rest zones" caught their attention, while versatile study spaces and smart technologies demonstrated modern academic infrastructure.

活动首站为大学艺术中心，学生们通过讲解了解到，该中心以课程与实践活动相结合的模式推动校园文化建设，例如开设艺术工作坊、组织展览等，致力于让艺术融入学生的日常生活。随后，图书馆参观环节中，馆员向学生展示了一楼的校园规划沙盘，详细介绍了正在建设的医学院、音乐学院等新院区；在二楼实地体验时，“手机休息处”等创新设计引起了学生们的兴趣，馆内多样化的学习空间和智能化设备也让众人感受到现代化图书馆的高效与便利。

A highlight emerged during the medical faculty session led by Professor HUANG Xianda, the Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine at CUHK-Shenzhen. He outlined the school's strategic focus on merging artificial intelligence with biomedical sciences to drive cutting-edge research and talent development, sparking students' curiosity about interdisciplinary innovation. During the session, Professor Wong also provided practical guidance about admissions criteria and application procedures specifically for Hong Kong and Macao applicants, further clarifying their future academic pathways. The visit extended to research institutes including the Computational Biology Centre and Cryo-Electron Microscopy Facility, offering hands-on exposure to bioinformatics research environments.

当天的重要环节是医学院副院长黄宪达教授的专题分享。黄教授重点介绍了医学院的发展定位与学科特色，提及学院将聚焦人工智能与生物医学的交叉领域，推动前沿科研与人才培养，黄教授的分享激发了学生对前沿科技领域的探索热情。同时，黄教授详细解读了针对港澳学生的招生政策，包括录取标准、申请流程等实用信息，为有意向报考的学生提供了明确指引。参访团队还走进瓦谢尔计算生物研究院、科比尔卡创新药物开发研究院及冷冻电子显微中心，近距离观察生物信息学领域的研究场景，了解学科发展前景。

This immersive experience enabled students to appreciate CUHK-Shenzhen's academic ethos through its arts facilities, tech-enhanced libraries and advanced laboratories. Beyond understanding admissions processes, participants gained perspective on emerging fields where technology converges with life sciences - crucial insights that will inform their future academic choices in the evolving educational landscape of the Greater Bay Area.
