Let’s take a look behind the scenes to see what the preparation for the PYPx – Sharing the Planet involved!

The Primary Years Programme Exhibition (PYPX) is a significant event in the final years of the PYP, where students showcase their learning through an in-depth inquiry into a real-world issue. 

小学项目展(PYPX)是小学项目(PYP)在学生学习生涯最后阶段的一项关键活动。

The ‘Sharing the Planet’ theme is one of the six transdisciplinary themes in the PYP and focuses on rights, responsibilities, and the relationship between living things and their environments. 

在此期间,学生通过深入研究现实世界中的问题,展示其学习成果。“共享地球”作为小学项目中的六个跨学科主题之一,重点关注权利、责任以及生物与其环境之间的相互关系。

This theme often connects directly to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 14 (Life Below Water), and SDG 15 (Life on Land), helping students see how their learning contributes to global efforts for a better future.  

该主题通常与联合国可持续发展目标(SDGs)紧密相关,例如 SDG 13(气候行动)、SDG 14(水下生物)和 SDG 15(陆地生物),从而帮助学生理解如何通过自身学习为全球建设更美好的未来贡献力量。



During the exhibition, students engage in an in-depth, collaborative inquiry that allows them to demonstrate agency and responsibility for their learning. They explore multiple perspectives, synthesise and apply their learning, and take action to address the issue they have chosen. 

在展览过程中,学生参与深度协作探究,展现出自主性和对学习的责任感。他们从多角度探讨问题,整合并运用所学知识,同时采取实际行动以解决所选问题。



The exhibition serves multiple purposes. It unites the learning community and enables students to demonstrate the attributes of the IB learner profile. It also helps students reflect on their PYP education and celebrate their transition to the next stages of their education.

此次展览具有深远意义。它不仅将学习群体凝聚在一起,还使学生能够展现国际文凭组织(IB)学习者培养目标的特质。此外,它有助于学生反思其小学项目(PYP)的学习经历,并庆祝向下一教育阶段的顺利过渡。

The preparation work behind each final exhibition is carefully thought out, our students took these steps in preparing for the PYPx – Sharing the Planet:

Understanding the Theme

理解主题





Students explored the central idea and key concepts, such as responsibility, connection, and causation, related to ‘Sharing the Planet’. 

学生深入探讨了与“共享地球”相关的中心思想及关键概念,如责任、联系和因果关系等。


They brainstormed global and local issues such as climate change, endangered species, pollution, or resource distribution, linking them to relevant SDGs.  

他们通过头脑风暴提出全球及本地问题,例如气候变化、濒危物种、污染或资源分配,并将其与相关可持续发展目标相联系。







Choosing a Topic

选定议题





Students selected a specific issue they are passionate about, for example deforestation, plastic waste, animal extinction and identified which SDG(s) their topic aligned with.  

学生挑选了一个自己热衷的具体问题,例如森林砍伐、塑料垃圾或动物灭绝,并明确其与哪些可持续发展目标相关联。


They formed groups or worked individually based on shared interests.

根据共同兴趣,学生组成小组或独立开展工作。







Research & Inquiry 

调研与探究





Students gathered information from books, articles, interviews, and experts, examining how their issue connected to the SDGs and global sustainability efforts.  

学生从书籍、文章、访谈及专家处收集信息,研究所关注问题与可持续发展目标及全球可持续发展努力之间的关联。


They analysed causes, effects, and possible solutions to their chosen issue.  

他们分析了问题的原因、影响及可能的解决方案。







Developing Action Plans  

制定行动计划





Students thought of ways to take action, such as raising awareness, creating campaigns, or proposing sustainable solutions that supported the SDGs.  

学生思考了采取行动的方式,例如提高公众意识、发起活动或提出支持可持续发展目标的可持续解决方案。


They considered how their actions could make a difference locally or globally.  

他们评估了自己的行动在当地或全球层面可能产生的影响。









Creating the Exhibition  

策展创作





Students prepared presentations, models, posters, videos, or interactive displays, highlighting the connection between their topic and the SDGs.  

学生准备了演示文稿、模型、海报、视频或互动展示,突出其主题与可持续发展目标之间的联系。


They practised explaining their findings clearly to an audience.  

他们练习向观众清晰阐述自己的研究成果。







Reflection & Presentation  

反思与展示





Students reflected on their learning journey and challenges faced, considering how their work contributed to the broader global goals.  

学生回顾了自己的学习历程及所面临的挑战,思考其工作如何为更广泛的全球目标作出贡献。


On the exhibition day, they confidently presented their projects and engaged in discussions about real-world change.  

在展览日,他们自信地展示了项目成果,并围绕现实世界的变革展开讨论。

Why the PYPx Matters  


The PYPx empowers students to become thinkers, communicators, and responsible global citizens. By focusing on ‘Sharing the Planet’ and linking their learning to the SDGs, they understood the importance of sustainability, collaboration, and taking meaningful action for a better world.
