On 23rd May 2025, the eleventh session of the Guangdong Soong Ching Ling Foundation’s “Master Class” series was held at ASJ (Dongguan). The event featured vocal music expert Ms. REN Lihua and cultural relic conservator Ms. ZHANG Xiaoyan, who delivered themed talks to guide students through an enriching journey of artistic discovery.

2025年5月23日，广东省宋庆龄基金会“美育公益课堂”第十一场在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校举办。活动延续“学者讲堂+非遗课堂”双板块模式，由声乐专家任丽华与文物修复师张笑艳分别带来声乐艺术与传统技艺的主题讲座，为学子们开启了一场丰富多彩的美学之旅。

《歌声连着你和我——中国经典歌曲赏析》

Ms. REN Lihua, a lyric coloratura soprano and vocal music postgraduate tutor at South China Normal University, presented an immersive masterclass. Adopting an innovative lecture-performance approach, she collaborated with three young vocalists – OUYANG Qin, HUANG Yujiang, and LUO Yi – to create vivid musical demonstrations. From the flowing melodies of Liuyang River to the Sichuan folk charm of When Will the Pagoda Trees Bloom? and the poetic elegance of Spring Dawn (inspired by classical verse), diverse musical styles came alive through nuanced interpretations, allowing students to experience the versatility of vocal artistry.

华南师范大学声乐硕士研究生导师任丽华以《歌声连着你和我——中国经典歌曲赏析》为主题，为同学们带来一场沉浸式声乐课。这位抒情花腔女高音歌唱家创新采用"讲演结合"模式，携欧阳勤、黄渝江、骆怡三位青年歌唱家，通过现场演绎构建起生动的教学场景。《浏阳河》的婉转水韵、《槐花几时开》的川蜀风情、《春晓》的古诗词意蕴……不同风格的经典作品在歌者们的精准诠释中焕发新生，让观众直观感受到声乐艺术的多样性。

During the interactive session, Ms. REN guided students in distinguishing musical genres. As the Kazakh folk song Swallow contrasted with the Song dynasty poetry-inspired Green Jade Table: Lantern Festival, students grasped the differences between folk traditions and classical art songs. This blend of emotional expression and intellectual engagement transformed abstract music theory into tangible aesthetic experiences, leaving a lasting impression.

在互动环节，任丽华通过提问引导学生分辨歌曲的不同题材和体裁。当《燕子》（哈萨克族民歌）与《青玉案·元夕》（宋词歌曲）先后响起，学生们逐渐掌握民歌与古诗词艺术歌曲的区别。这种以声传情、以乐启智的教学方式，不仅展现了声乐艺术的多元维度，更让抽象的音乐理论化作可感可知的审美体验，让同学们受益匪浅。

Cultural Relics of Dongguan

《莞邑的文与物》

Cultural conservator Ms. ZHANG Xiaoyan, a member of the China Cultural Relics Association and guest lecturer at Dongguan University of Technology, shared insights into the philosophy of artefact restoration.

在非遗课堂上，文物修复师张笑艳带领学生们从“莞邑的文与物”中感受文物修复的魅力与意义。张笑艳老师是中国文物学会文物修复专业委员会会员、东莞理工学院知行学院客座讲师，她曾受邀到故宫文物医院徐建华工作室进修字画修复，拥有丰富的文物修复经验。

Drawing from her training at the Palace Museum’s Conservation Centre and hands-on experience preserving Dongguan’s historical documents – including portraits, genealogical records, and personal correspondence – she demonstrated period-specific paper conservation techniques. Through case studies, students witnessed the painstaking principle of “restoring artefacts to their original state while preserving historical integrity”.

讲座中，张笑艳以自身经历为引，讲述与古籍修复结缘的故事，结合她在东莞地区对各类珍贵史料（如：名人画像、族谱、家书等）的修复案例，解析不同历史时期纸张特性与修复技巧，生动展现"修旧如旧"的核心理念，让同学们直观感受古籍修复的严谨与匠心。

Ms. ZHANG highlighted the quiet dedication behind this national-level intangible heritage craft. Though often working with fragile, solitary manuscripts, she revealed how faded pages are reborn through meticulous care to preserve cultural memory. “A city’s true charm lies not just in its economic power, but in safeguarding its unique heritage,” she remarked. Her stories of rescuing historical details and tracing cultural lineages through restored texts planted seeds of stewardship in young minds, showcasing how patient craftsmanship becomes a profound act of cultural preservation.

作为国家级非物质文化遗产，古籍修复需要常年与孤本残卷为伴，过程看似枯燥，但当泛黄卷册重现原貌、历史痕迹被完整保留时，这份专注便有了独特的意义。张笑艳通过修复案例中抢救的文献细节，带领学生感受典籍背后的文化脉络。她表示，“一座城市的魅力，不仅在于其物质力量，还在于是否拥有独特的文化遗产。”张老师持之以恒的工匠态度以及对这座城市的热爱，在学子心中埋下了文化守护者的种子。
