A Melodious Journey: The Spring Concert of MYP and DP

High School Life

The concert kicked off with the Grade 10 students presenting "High School Life," a piece that seemed to encapsulate the very essence of their journey through the hallowed halls of academia. It was a nostalgic nod to the friendships forged, the challenges overcome, and the growth experienced during their high school years.

Grade 6.1

The Grade 6.1 students then took the stage with "Shake it off" and "Dive back in time." Their youthful exuberance was palpable as they danced and sang, transporting the audience to a world of carefree joy. "Shake it off" was a high - energy anthem that had the crowd clapping and swaying, while "Dive back in time" added a touch of whimsy, as if inviting everyone to take a trip down memory lane.

Grade  6.2

Grade 6.2 followed with "River flows in you" and "What makes you beautiful." The former, with its soothing melody, was like a gentle stream meandering through the concert hall, calming the spirits of the audience. "What makes you beautiful" was a celebration of self - worth, with the students' voices ringing out clear and confident, reminding everyone of the unique beauty within each individual.

Grade 7.1 brought a different flavor to the stage with "Love is Gone" and "All the Stars." The melancholic undertones of "Love is Gone" were counterbalanced by the soaring hope in "All the Stars," creating a dynamic contrast that showcased the students' versatility.

Grade 7.2

Grade 7.2's performance of "Cruel Summer" and "Blank Space" was nothing short of electrifying. The sultry rhythm of "Cruel Summer" and the sassy attitude of "Blank Space" had the audience captivated, as the students commanded the stage with poise and charisma.

The bands

The concert also featured several bands. The "Girls Band, Red Hot Chickens" each delivered unique sets. The Girls Band performance was a blend of raw energy and musical finesse. The Red Hot Chickens added a dash of rock and roll flair to the evening. The presence of the "Former graduates band" was a touching reminder of the rich musical heritage of the school, bridging the gap between the past and the present.
