QISS is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and as such, graduates earn a US High School Diploma. QISS is licensed to accept expatriate children by the Ministry of Education in Beijing and the Qingdao Education Bureau.

The QISS AP passing score average continues to outperform the global and China averages.

C3 is the name of the College Counseling Center which uses programs from therenowned Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and the Princeton Review to streamline the College Admissions and Academic Pathways offered to students at QISS and in the wider community. The Centre is located in the QISS main building and senior students have access to staffand resources throughout the day.

QISS currently serve close to 240 students attending classes in Nursery-12th grade from over 30 countries. Students with foreign passports represent the majority of QISS enrollment.  QISS is a welcoming and inclusive school where individual differences are appreciated and celebrated!
