Ranking Methodology:
5 Key Dimensions and 18 Performance Metrics
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings is the only global performance table that assesses all core tasks of research-intensive universities, including teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.
This year's rankings are based on an analysis of nearly 19 million research papers, 1.5 million academic reputation survey responses, and detailed data from over 3,000 institutions worldwide. Performance indicators remain grouped into five dimensions: teaching, research environment, research quality, industry engagement, and international outlook.
