On October 9, 2025, Sias International School successfully held the “Together We Grow: Education Partner Growth Forum.” The event focused on the theme “Building an Effective Collaborative Educational Community,” aiming to strengthen the partnership between the school and external organizations, enhance collaboration efficiency, and foster a shared understanding of student-centered education.

The forum began with a warm and engaging ice-breaking session, allowing partners to connect and build rapport in a relaxed environment. This activity created a foundation of trust and understanding for the discussions that followed.

Ms. Victoria Guo, Manager of the Community Relations Department, delivered the opening speech. She emphasized the essential role that after-school program partners play in the school’s educational ecosystem and shared her vision for deeper, more innovative collaboration in the future. Ms. Guo also reiterated Sias International School’s core values —Caring, Principled, Risk-takers, and Balanced —underscoring the school’s mission to nurture global citizens through student-centered education.

成长会的核心环节由教学校长克里斯琴博士及教师团队带来响应式课堂专业发展培训。

培训内容聚焦四个关键领域：

· 以学生为中心的教学方法，平衡学术与社会情感成长；

· 有效的注意力信号技巧，快速引导学生专注；

· 高效的课堂过渡流程，优化教学衔接与时间管理；

· 互动式建模，通过“演示—实践—反馈”模式帮助教师规范学生行为。

此次培训注重实践与可操作性，帮助合作机构教师将理念转化为课堂行动，实现校内外教育方法与价值观的一致性，为学生提供连贯、系统的学习与成长体验。

A highlight of the event was the Responsive Classroom Professional Development Workshop, led by Dr. Christian, Academic Principal, along with the teaching team.

The training focused on four key areas:

· Student-centered teaching approaches that balance academic and social-emotional development;

· Effective attention signals to help teachers quickly and calmly gain students’ focus;

· Efficient classroom transitions that maximize instructional time and smooth activity flow;

· Interactive modeling, using the “demonstrate–practice–feedback” cycle to reinforce positive behavior and learning routines.

This practical, hands-on session empowered partner educators to align classroom practices with the school’s educational philosophy, creating a consistent and supportive learning environment for all students.
