CISH School-wide Book Fair | CISH全校读书展

Last week at CISH, we hosted a school-wide book fair for Maple Dragons across all grade levels! With a wide range of reading selections for Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, covering categories from science to fiction, non-fiction, and activity books, our students enjoyed a week of embracing the joy of reading.

Why Reading is Important at CISH

At CISH, we deeply value the language and literacy development of our students. Our goal is to cultivate not just competent readers, but also curious and lifelong learners. Through reading, students unlock a world of knowledge, develop research skills, and discover the joy found in the creativity of great writers. Excitingly, research from a leading children's literacy and educational publishing company highlights that reading not only enriches knowledge but also sparks meaningful conversations between parents and children (Scholastic, 2025).

CISH is thrilled to see how excited our Maple Dragons were during the book fair, with engaging conversations happening among peers, teachers, students, and parents. Thanks to the unwavering support from our Parent Association, we had a wonderful week immersed in the ocean of books.
