100%获奖！哈罗横琴学子在SMC数学竞赛获取佳绩
捷报！10月于我校举行的英国高级数学测评（SMC）结果出炉，哈罗横琴学子斩获了“满堂红”的骄人战绩：参赛的七名学生，百分百获奖！其中，更有三位学子勇夺全球金奖，这份耀眼的成绩单，是学生勤奋与智慧的交锋，也是学校对于竞赛支持的有力印证！

英国数学测评（高级）（Senior Mathematical Challenge，简称 SMC）由英国数学信托基金会（UK Mathematics Trust, UKMT）主办，面向 16–19 岁学生，作为英国最大数学组织，UKMT每年为超过70万名学子提供各种各样的国家级别数学活动。SMC竞赛旨在培养学生的逻辑思维与数学创造力，鼓励他们以严谨而灵活的方式运用数学知识解决复杂问题。
在11月初，哈罗横琴学子还将参加含金量更高的美国数学竞赛（American Mathematics Competitions, 简称 AMC），AMC是美国数学协会主办的全球性权威竞赛，旨在激发中学生数学兴趣与才能，其成绩是国际名校录取的重要参考。让我们一同期待同学们再创佳绩，续写辉煌！
Good news! The results of the UK Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC) held at our school in October have been announced. Harrow Hengqin students achieved outstanding success: all seven participants won awards! Among them, three students earned Global Gold Awards. This remarkable achievement reflects both the students’ hard work and intellect, and the school’s strong support for academic competitions.

The Senior Mathematical Challenge (SMC), organised by the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT), is aimed at students aged 16–19. As the UK’s largest mathematics organisation, the UKMT engages over 700,000 students each year in national-level mathematical activities. The SMC encourages logical thinking and mathematical creativity, challenging students to apply knowledge with precision and flexibility to solve complex problems.
In early November, Harrow Hengqin students will also take part in the American Mathematics Competitions (AMC), a globally recognised contest organised by the Mathematical Association of America. The AMC aims to inspire interest and talent in mathematics and is an important reference for admissions to top international universities. Let us look forward to even greater success ahead!
