This is a tremendous honour for the school. From your perspective, what does the "Outstanding Pearson School Award" signify about the LEH Foshan community?
This award is far more than a plaque on the wall; it is a resounding endorsement of our entire school ethos. It signifies a community that consistently strives for the highest standards. It celebrates the collaborative spirit between our students, who embrace every challenge, our teachers, who provide inspirational guidance, and our parents, who offer steadfast support. It confirms that we are not just teaching a curriculum but building a culture of intellectual curiosity and resilience.
For our students in the crucial revision period for their IGCSE and A-Levels, what message does this award send to them?
My message to our exam students is simple: you are in the right place. This award is external, independent proof that the education you are receiving, the support surrounding you, and the academic rigour you are experiencing are of the highest international calibre. As you tackle your final preparations, do so with the confidence that you are exceptionally well-prepared. Let this achievement be a boost of encouragement, you are part of an award-winning learning environment.

Academically, what does this Pearson award mean for the quality of teaching and learning at LEH Foshan?
Pearson, as one of our exam boards, is recognising the outstanding outcomes our students achieve year after year. This award validates our teaching methodologies, our challenging curriculum, and the personalised academic support we provide. It tells us that our approach, focusing on deep conceptual understanding rather than just rote learning, is what enables our students to excel not only in exams, but as critical thinkers ready for top universities. What an incredible achievement this is for the school and Science faculty more broadly. We have already celebrated the IGCSE and A-Level results achieved in 2025 with the school community, but this award is a superb reason to keep these celebrations going. Our new exam cohorts have lots to gain from speaking to and hearing from students represented by Angela, and we are confident we can build on this success for the future.
