Mr Charles Fitzgerald加入佛山霍利斯担任预备部主班老师。他在中、印、英三国拥有六年的国际教学及中层管理经验，持有英国教师资格证（QTS），擅长设计差异化学习体验，以满足不同能力学生的需求，并为英语作为附加语言（EAL）的学习者提供支持。

作为以儿童为中心教育理念的践行者，Mr Fitzgerald采用探究式和项目式学习方法，培养学生的批判性思维与自主学习能力。他灵活的教学方式确保学生能得到适度的挑战与支持。

Mr Fitzgerald正在巴斯大学攻读教育学硕士学位，他拥有诺森比亚大学的小学教育专业教育学研究生证书（PGCE）以及历史学荣誉学士学位（二等一级）。扎实的学术背景为他的教学实践和对专业成长的追求奠定了坚实基础。

Mr Slade 拥有逾20年的小学教育经验。他曾在英国及中国、缅甸、泰国、哈萨克斯坦、埃及和韩国的国际学校任教，积累了丰富的教学经历。Mr Slade 在教授英国国家课程（ENC）以及支持英语作为第二语言（ESL）学习者方面具有深厚的专业背景。他的教学方法以探究式学习为核心，鼓励学生保持好奇心，培养批判性思维和独立学习能力。同时，他也积极将科技融入课堂，以提高学生的参与度并促进协作学习。

Mr Slade 拥有英国坎特伯雷基督教堂大学的科学与体育科学的荣誉学士学位和体育教育研究生证书（PGCE），以及埃克塞特大学的人文学科研究生证书（PGCE），并获得了 TEFL 证书。

Mr Slade是一位热爱旅行的教育者，至今已造访72个国家，并致力将全球视野带入课堂，培养学生的文化意识。课堂之外，他积极参与动物救援活动，并热衷于组织社区活动，如知识竞赛和课外活动。

Forrest 女士将加入佛山霍利斯，担任英语教学支持老师和和舍监老师。Forrest 女士拥有利物浦大学的现代语言学士学位，她对语言教学充满热情，并来到了中国开始她的教学生涯。在加入佛山霍利斯之前，Forrest女士在中国的一所高中担任英语口语教师，获得了宝贵的教学经验。作为一名英语教师，她工作积极性高，组织能力强，善于培养学生的英语技能。她本人还会说中文（汉语四级），能够与学生们进行更深层次的交流，进而有助于理解不同的文化和语言学习。

Dr Emmerton 是一位资深的科学教师和教育领导者，拥有超过20年的国际教学经验，曾在中国、埃及、约旦、冈比亚和英国学校担任教职。在加入佛山霍利斯之前，他在广州一所知名的英国学校任教，负责学生关怀事务，并教授6-9年级的科学课程，以及IGCSE和A-level的化学和生物课程。Dr Emmerton在其职业生涯中一直致力于科学部门的发展、课程规划以及创新教学方法的整合。他对课外活动充满热情，曾组织过多次科学和STEAM活动，并参与童子军和爱丁堡公爵奖计划。

Dr Emmerton 拥有谢菲尔德大学的生态关系博士学位、帝国理工学院的生态管理硕士学位以及布莱顿大学的环境科学学士学位。他还持有朴茨茅斯大学的教育研究生证书（PGCE）。

Mr Charles Fitzgerald joins LEH Foshan as a Prep School Teacher with six years of international teaching and middle leadership experience from China, India, and the UK. Holding UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), he specialises in creating differentiated learning experiences that cater to diverse abilities and support EAL learners.

A dedicated practitioner of child-centered education, Mr Fitzgerald employs inquiry-based and project-based learning approaches to develop students' critical thinking and independent learning skills. His adaptive teaching methods ensure all learners are appropriately challenged and supported.

Mr Matthew Slade joins LEH Foshan Prep School as prep Teacher with over 20 years of experience in primary education. He has worked in both UK schools and international schools in China, Myanmar, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Egypt, and South Korea. Mr Slade has extensive expertise in delivering the Eng National Curriculum (ENC) and supporting English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. His teaching approach centres on inquiry-based learning, encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and independent learning. He also integrates technology into his lessons to enhance student engagement and foster collaboration. 

Mr Slade holds a BSc (Hons) in Science and Sports Science, a PGCE in PE from Canterbury Christ Church University, a PGCE in Humanities from Exeter University, and a TEFL certification. 

Mr Slade is a passionate traveller who has visited 72 countries, bringing global perspectives into his teaching and fostering cultural awareness among his students. Outside the classroom, he actively supports animal rescue initiatives and enjoys organising community events, including quizzes and extracurricular activities.

Ms Forrest joins LEH Foshan as an ELA Teacher & House Parent. With a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages from the University of Liverpool, Abigail’s passion for language education led her to embark on a teaching career in China. Prior to joining our school, she gained valuable teaching experience as an Oral English Teacher at a high school in China. As an English teacher, she is highly motivated and well-organised, excelling in cultivating students' English skills. With her upper-intermediate Chinese proficiency (HSK 4), Abigail can connect with our students on a deeper level, fostering cultural understanding and language acquisition.

Dr Karl Emmerton is a highly experienced Science teacher and educational leader with over 20 years of extensive international experience in China, Egypt, Jordan, the Gambia, and the UK. Before joining LEH Foshan, he taught in a well-known British School in Guangzhou, responsible for pastoral care and teaching general Science to students in Years 6-9, as well as IGCSE and A-level Chemistry and Biology. Throughout his career, Dr Emmerton has been dedicated to the development of Science departments, curriculum planning, and the integration of innovative teaching methods. He is passionate about extracurricular activities, having organised numerous Science and STEAM events, as well as being involved in Scouting and the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme.

Dr Emmerton holds a PhD in Ecological Relationships from the University of Sheffield, an MSc in Ecological Management from Imperial College, and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Brighton. He also completed a PGCE at the University of Portsmouth.
