Class of 2024 Oskar Opfer Reflects on IB and CISH Memories

CISH was delighted to have our Class of 2024 graduate, Oskar Opfer, come back for a visit to share his experience with our current students. Oskar relayed his experience with studying the IB, managing tasks and time, and setting up university goals. Oskar is currently studying Mandarin at Anhui University, as part of a gap year plan. During his visit, he offered important takeaways for other students who might consider doing the same after graduating. When asked about his feelings about CISH and his experience as a Maple Dragon, Oskar shared, “Every time I visit CISH, I feel a sense of belonging and home. I’ve spent the better part of my youth here, and wherever I go in the building, I remember the good memories I’ve created here. Additionally, there are still many teachers I am quite fond of, and catching up with them is always a pleasure. Lastly, the CISH events I visited have been amazing and something I really enjoy in my free time, especially the Maple Dragons basketball games.”
