CISK's annual International Day once again transformed our campus into a global village, uniting our diverse community in a dynamic celebration of cultures from around the world.
The event commenced with a colorful and spirited Flag Parade. Students representing over 25 countries and regions marched proudly around the track, waving their national flags – a powerful visual testament to our school's rich multicultural tapestry.
Throughout the main building – in the lobby, gym, and cafeteria –a world of discovery awaited. Families, students, and teachers energetically hosted cultural stalls brimming with authentic international flavours, handcrafted items, immersive activities, and traditional games. Each interaction, whether savoring a new dish, mastering a craft, or exchanging words in another language, became a meaningful bridge to understanding different traditions and perspectives.
More than just a festive gathering, International Day proved a profound educational experience. It offered our students an authentic, hands-on opportunity to connect deeply with peers, embody the IB values of respect and open-mindedness, and truly experience the power of global perspective in action.
This year's International Day also carries profound charitable significance. Stallholders, represented by the Korean booth, donated their proceeds, with these funds earmarked for preparing warm winter gifts for children at Kunshan Love School. This kindness continues to spread throughout the campus and local community.
The kindness and inclusive atmosphere embodies the spirit of our community, where families, faculty, and students celebrate unity in diversity. International Day further demonstrates that CISK is a small “global village.” This international community cultivates students' genuine global perspective, empowering them to grow into future talents with global citizenship competencies.
CISK 一年一度的 International Day 再次把校园变成了一个“小小地球村”，来自世界各地的师生与家庭在这里汇聚，共同营造了一场充满活力的多元文化庆典。
活动以色彩缤纷、充满活力的 Flag Parade拉开序幕。来自 25 个以上国家和地区的学生手举国旗，绕操场一周，队伍整齐而自信，现场呈现出一幅鲜活的多元文化图景。
走进主教学楼，无论是在大厅、体育馆，还是在餐厅，都能看到丰富的文化体验等着大家去探索。由家长、学生与老师共同准备的国家摊位热闹非凡：各国风味的美食、手工艺品、互动体验和传统游戏吸引着每一位来访者。一次品尝、一段对话、一次亲手体验，都成了连接不同文化、理解不同视角的真实桥梁。
International Day 不仅是一场节日庆典，更是一场深刻的学习体验。它为学生提供了一个真实、具体、可触碰的机会，让他们在互动中践行 IB 所倡导的尊重、多元与开放思维，真正理解“国际情怀”在日常生活中的意义。
今年的国际日还承载着深远的慈善意义。以韩国摊位为代表的摊主们捐出了各自的收益，这笔善款将被用于为昆山爱心学校的孩子们准备温暖的冬季礼物。让这份善意在校园和当地社群中持续传递。
友善包容的氛围彰显着我们社区的精神内核，在这里，家庭、老师和学生在多元中凝聚，在交流中共融。国际日更进一步印证了CISK是一个微型“地球村”。这个国际化社区培育着学生真正的国际视野，助力他们成长为具有全球公民素养的未来人才。
