By mastering the Early Learning Quality (ELQ) standards, Shengxing Chinese-English Kindergarten has achieved a milestone in early childhood education. The kindergarten has successfully passed the ELQ self-assessment phase for its Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) program conducted by the British International Education Association (BIEA), marking a significant leap in educational quality and achieving alignment with global standards.
我们会逐步根据ELQ核心标准、英国官方给我们的评估报告以及每月英国专家的定期指导，继续完善。争取早日成为中国EYFS园所ELQ官方认证的园所。
We will gradually continue to improve based on the ELQ core standards, the assessment reports provided by the British authorities, and the regular guidance from British experts every month. Strive to become an officially certified EYFS kindergarten in China as soon as possible.

As a globally recognized framework for high-quality preschool education, the EYFS system is guided by the philosophy that "every child is unique." Its certification process is renowned for being rigorous and comprehensive. Since initiating the certification preparations, our kindergarten staff has united in excellence, meticulously refining every aspect—from optimizing curriculum systems and upgrading teaching environments to enhancing teacher professionalism and deepening home-kindergarten collaboration. Aligning with the seven EYFS learning domains, we have redesigned a kindergarten-specific curriculum that balances fun and inquiry. We've created safe, open, and inspiring gamified learning spaces, organized specialized training for teachers to strengthen their skills in observation, assessment, and personalized support, and established efficient communication channels with parents to jointly build a nurturing ecosystem for children's growth.

The successful completion of this certification's self-assessment phase stands as a testament to our kindergarten's educational philosophy, teaching practices, and comprehensive management, and is the fruit of the collective efforts of all teachers, students, and parents. ELQ国际认证是什么？
ELQ认证即英式早期教育标准认证(Early Years League Quality) 。它是英国国际教育协会(BIEA)在英国教育标准局、英国资格与考试监督局支持下, 针对海外执行EYFS (英国早期教育体系)的早期教育机构设立的质量认证。
ELQ (Early Years League Quality) is a quality certification program established by the British International Education Association (BIEA) with support from the UK Education Standards Agency and the UK Qualifications and Examinations Authority. It is designed for early education institutions implementing the EYFS (Early Years Framework of Reference) in the UK.
该认证会从师资力量、师幼比、管理流程、教学方式等多方面评估机构,通过认证则意味着其达到纯正英式早期教育的质量水平，是这类机构教育质量的权威证明。目前在中国，仅有少数幼儿园通过了此项认证。
The certification evaluates institutions from multiple aspects such as faculty strength, teacher-to-child ratio, management processes, and teaching methods. Passing the certification means they have reached the quality level of authentic British early education, serving as an authoritative proof of the educational quality of such institutions. Currently in China, only a few kindergartens have passed this certification.

As shown in the figure below, the most critical and distinctive feature of the ELQ certification process lies in its three-phase cycle: preliminary review, self-assessment, and final review. This expert-guided iterative model continuously drives the improvement of EYFS education quality in participating kindergartens. This ongoing process of enhancement and refinement perfectly embodies the high standards of ELQ-certified institutions.
