11月20日，为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记关于做好新时代人才工作的重要思想，“2025年在京外籍专家学者中国行 —— 郑州专场” 活动走进郑东新区。作为河南省首家且唯一获得IB全学段与WASC双认证的外籍人员子女学校，西亚斯外籍人员子女学校受邀接待了北京海外学人中心党委委员、副主任司鹏搏一行6人带领的来自清华大学、中国商飞、中国科学院大学等顶尖机构的16位外籍专家及家属。郑州市人才工作服务中心副主任李智、中原科技城人才工作局局长邬蒙等领导陪同调研，实地考察郑州国际人才教育配套服务成效。

On November 20, to thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on talent work in the new era, the “2025 China Tour for Foreign Experts Based in Beijing — Zhengzhou Session” was held in Zhengdong New District. As the first and currently the only school in Henan Province accredited with both full-continuum IB programmes and WASC certification, Sias International School was invited to host the visiting delegation. The visit included six representatives led by Si Pengbo, Member of the CPC Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Overseas Talents Center, together with 16 foreign experts and their family members from top institutions such as Tsinghua University, COMAC, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Li Zhi, Deputy Director of Zhengzhou Talent Service Center, and Wu Meng, Director of the Talent Bureau of Zhongyuan Science and Technology City, accompanied the delegation to conduct an on-site review of international talent education support services in Zhengzhou.

在校长山姆·米尔斯博士、社区关系经理郭钰涵等校方代表的引导下，专家团系统了解了学校的国际化办学实践与人才服务配套功能：学校构建的覆盖学前至高中全学段 IB 课程体系，汇聚近 30 个国家师资的多元化教学团队，以及针对外籍家庭的签证咨询、文化适配等定制化服务，全面呼应了郑州 “全链条” 人才服务要求。依托 IB 与 WASC “双认证” 成果，学校有效填补了区域国际化教育空白，成为 “郑聚英才计划” 中高端人才服务保障体系的重要组成部分，为全球人才扎根河南提供关键支撑，这一实践成果获得专家团高度认可。他们表示，优质的国际教育资源为外籍人才在郑安心发展提供了坚实保障，也增强了更多国际人员在中原长期发展的信心。

Guided by Dr. Sam E. Mills, Head of School, and Community Relations Manager Victoria Guo, the delegation gained a comprehensive understanding of the school’s internationalized educational practices and its supporting services for global talent. The school has established a full-continuum IB curriculum from early years through high school, assembled a diverse teaching team representing nearly 30 countries, and provides tailored services for expatriate families—including visa consultation and cultural adaptation guidance—fully aligning with Zhengzhou’s “full-chain” international talent service requirements. Leveraging the advantages of dual IB and WASC accreditation, the school has effectively filled the regional gap in international education and become an important component of the “Zhengzhou Talent Attraction Initiative,” providing crucial support for global talent choosing to settle in Henan. The delegation spoke highly of these achievements, noting that high-quality international education resources offer strong assurance for foreign experts to develop their careers in Zhengzhou and further enhance confidence in long-term development in the Central Plains region.
